While staying in Platys Gialos we visited place twice for lunch and dinner. Restaurant has a lot to offer and food is very nice and tasty. Fishes and sea food sometimes come frozen so if you mind ask waiter for it. Recommended to visit when you are around !!

Perfect italian restaurant situated exactly in the center of apolonia. Open just for dinner. Very professional service, good italian wine selection and fresh original italian food. I dont understand the complains about the prices? How much do you want to spend in a good italian restaurant? 10€ per person? Go and take a souvlaki!

Right on the beach front, our snack/bar offers you a large selection of cocktails and spirits. It is the ideal place to quench your thirst while enjoying the magic moments in Sifnos. Open from 10am to 3am, Palmira is ready to accompany you throughout the day, with relaxing beautiful music and really good food. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open from may to october.
Recommended to us by our hotel owners, it was clear that Palmira was the place to go for a relaxed drink in stylish surroundings, right on the beach. They make perfect mohitos which we drank every time we visited.... post-lunch, post-swim, pre-dinner, post-dinner! The music was always perfectly chilled & the staff were friendly & efficient. It's your perfect beach bar experience. Although we ate elsewhere (at the several excellent restaurants right next door), we always ended up at Palmira for that last nightcap drink.

This place is so pretty - my daughter called it Princess Land. But it was all downhill from when we sat down. We had a very unresponsive waiter who took our order for cold drinks and doughnuts. We had hoped for one of their speciality iced teas but they weren't available - in fact we were brought bog-standard cans of Lipton! Our doughnuts didn't appear and after about 20 minutes we asked the waiter about them - he acknowledged our request with a nod, suggesting that they were coming. After a further 20 minute wait we left our money for the drinks and left. Very weird place and unlike other, much less pretentious Greek cafés on Sifnos.

Okyalos restaurant is located in Sifnos from 2002 offering quality food in reasonable prices. We operate in the best professional way we can in all aspects of the business.A client that comes and eats here will surely visit us again.
A trip back to the 90's to a touristic Greece we would like to forget!!! Staff trying to "fish out" customers from the street and a mixed cuisine trying to combine some traditional dishes with some other "forgotten" international ones. Complete lack of imagination combined...MoreNo comments for a critic that represents the minority of the total 233 so far.

We were very enthusiastic about everything regarding this family-run sea-side restaurant in 2015 and reviewed it most favourably then. We returned last year and, again, were duly impressed. This year, however, we were disappointed. There were no lobsters, very few fish to choose from (the one we opted for was over-cooked) and the pana cotta - still good - seemed no longer to be "on the house". More importantly, we had reserved a table, were seated on arrival and then asked to move "for someone who had reserved before us". Service was very slow and the friendliness and enthusiasm of earlier days had disappeared. We will try it again next year, in the hope things will be excellent again. If not.., there are many other restaurants on the island, some of which continue to be outstanding.

On the main venue of Apollonia where the bar scene thrives, this tapas taverna is constantly packed. After managing to squeeze ourselves in a tiny, cramped table with little space to stretch out, we ordered an array of dishes that were neither innovative or stimulating to our taste buds. The noise around us from the other customers and the prospective ones waiting to be seated was least to say, deafening and diminished even more our dining experience.

Good beach taverna, with great local food, delicious grilled meat and very good salads - perfect place for an afternoon snack after the day on the beach. No fish but everything else fresh and made to order.

Fish and seafood is the common denominator in this kitchen-lab experimenting with old and new, Sifnian and Greek goods under global inspiration. Numerous small creations are proposed in a casual bar setting few meters from the Aegean sea. Get carried away by more than fifty suggestions of each year's best small Greek-only winery productions. We want you to percieve Omega3 as the place and the time where you and your companion actually degustate sensations, leaving you with a smile in your face and a feeling that life is wonderful!
Only good things to say about the Omega 3 :
- it has a very nice setting on the beach
- the food is just amazing, Greek food but with a successful twist towards high end gastronomy
- the wine list is superb, including a lot of wines by the glass which allows discovering some great Greek wines
- the staff is very nice and very knowledgeable about its menu and wine list
Of course, all of this does not come for free, but it was worth every penny.
Thank you to the Omega 3 team !!
