Our family enjoyed our first visit to the Stone Castle, between us we had Beef Fjitas which were really tender, Chicken Stroganof, Steak and Kebabs. All of the meals were really tasty and enjoyed by all of us. The prices were very reasonable, friendly staff and good service including the nice lady who had made some of the lovely dishes we ate which we did pass on our compliments. We would definately come back to this restaurant if back in Esentepe.

I don't know whether familiarity breeds contempt or that standards have dropped but this year we only ate here because it was convenient. The restaurant looks just the same, could do with a bit of an update though, the service is just as good i.e. very friendly but the food, apart from their delicious pizza, is not as good as previous years. There also seemed to be fewer customers. Would we go again ? of course because we know what to expect but it would be lovely if Remzi gave the business a bit of a shake up.

Had a bite of lunch here whilst visiting Esentepe.
Ordered cheese and tomato toastie, which came with chips which were cooked to perfection. The potatoes in Northern Cyprus are the best. the toastie was very large and struggled to eat it all.
Good place to sit and look out over the sea.

As two couples we ordered soup and spring rolls with bread and olives on the table-I had Peppered Chicken; 2 had chicken with ginger but served with spaghetti instead of noodles-still tasty; one had Mexican chicken. We all enjoyed it washed down with beers and red wine. Good value too

We visited the Coconut Bar for lunch. We ordered the cheeseburger, but without chips. When we received the bill it included a charge for the chips we didn't have. I queried this with the lady in charge, I was told that the chips were include in the price and were charged whether we had them or not. She could have mentioned that when we ordered, or perhaps offered extra salad instead. Strange attitude! One star for the food, one for the lovely polite children, one for the jolly Caribbean chef, zero for the lady in charge, who. Could learn a lot from the children in attitude.

This is the most obvious restaurant as you come into the village.
Food and service are OK, just slightly more expensive than others in the same area. The Ensentepe restaurant just down the road has better food and is cheaper but doesn't look as nice from the outside.

Called in to try it when it was a Motown tribute night-got a table anyway and gave it a go even though there was a restricted menu on. Tried the lamb kleftico and baked chicken and veg dish with the obligatory meses. Tuborg Malt and water to accompany a really tasty meal, so we will return in the future to try the extensive menu. Setting wasn't as good as I hoped, as the views around were restricted, but everything else was fine

When we stay at our friends place, this becomes our go to eatery-simple, tasty, freshly cooked meals all at reasonable prices on a stunning evening sunset terrace; occasional live acts, with sports covered and a good range or drinks of course. Serhat has time for everybody.

Stopped here for lunch one afternoon and had the most amazing fresh mezes, the best we had eaten on holiday. Started chatting to Andy who is Hati's partner and asking if he could recommend some were for my daughters 40th birthday meal, Andy said they do parties and explained all they could do, decorating the cafe, supplying the cake and we could also hire Andy to sing for her. We arrived on the night and the cafe looked lovely all decorated up with banners, balloons and lights. Started off with Hati's lovely mezes again and we all had mains(10 in our party) . Andy started singing in between courses and afterwards, Hati brought out the most gorgeous birthday cake with sparklers on it tasted divine. We all had the mostly amazing evening.
Visited a second evening for mezes and a third visit for the monthly music night which was great fun. This is a pre booked buffet evening with people out of the audience getting up and playing guitar and singing, great fun was had by all.
Thank you to Hati and Andy for making my daughters birthday so memorable, we have some great pictures and videos to remember it all with. Hope to see you both next year without a doubt the best food in the village.
