Looks very small, but they can accomodate a large amount of people in the back. Tournedos for main, coupe de vignerons for dessert. Honest, simple food, reasonable wines. Not too bad for lunch on a bank holiday.

Booked a table online for my party of six champagne lovers. Beautiful place, immaculate service, excellent food. Price-quality-ratio very good. I had delicious foie gras, followed by lobster, cooked to perfection. We all had excellent food and were happy with the champagne also. Would recommend for fine dining. Quiet, elegant place with old-fashioned (in a good sense) decoration.

Late arrival after trips on countryside, therefore we did not have a specific appointment for this night. And because it was not raining in comparison to previous night, we decide to walk through town and see which one places would be wise to check for food. And were right on our observations, restaurants are mainly packed starting from 1900 to 2030. After that you can get Seating, but it depends on restaurant policy probably, because if you arrive late, you will hold up kitchen and chef, we felt a bit rushed at the end. Observation – we received cold faces and no answers if we responded to the question about reservation negatively, even if there were places without reservation marks or a couple next to us declined their reservation and they went away. So got seated (iniside, old part of house), waiting time was 20 minutes till we got attention of waitress (p.s. no English, you have to polish your French skills in Reading and speaking). Maybe she was scared that we will speak only English, but we just wanted some explanation of food and rest was done in French (as good as we could get). Food was good, I asked for some meat and was simply pointed to the plate of the day, and received “no no no “ look from waiter when I asked plates from meat page. Probably, I say, probably because we were there already at 2100 and my wish for steak type dish was to challenging, so I agree that plate of the day, medium done, will do the task for me. It was OK, a bit chewy.
Closer to the end, waitresses switched and we got the one who spoke good English. And from then the quality of service went up.

We went here in a group of five friends for a Friday evening meal upon arriving in Epernay for a champagne weekend. Overall, we were very happy with the food which combines tradition with inventiveneness. One or two waiters have an attitude problem, however, which was a most unpleasant surprise towards the end of our evening. When they had clearly brought the wrong dish they did not apologise and try to make good but started arguing with us and trying to justify the mistake.
Despite that I might be willing to consider giving them a second try during our next visit in Epernay, as the food was so good.

My wife and I went to this restaurant whilst on a 3 night stay in Epernay recently.
We chose this restaurant after Reading comments on this site about all the fine dining options available in this city.
We were delighted with the service and attention we received from the staff. The food choices were excellent quality and we asked for and enjoyed the advice on which wine we should/ could drink to match the dishes chosen.
The quantity of food provided was more than adequate and it was presented in a most appertising way. The atmosphere was quiet calm and contributed to our enjoyment.

Great steak and atmosphere, a group of us visited this restaurant on the off chance. The food was excellent, we all had steak, however there was a good selection of other dishes on the menu. We didn't have a starter only main and sweet, that was enough for all of us. The service was very friendly, obviously frequented by locals, always a good indication, we would definitely go back again on our next trip.

Good for champagne tasting. We tasted 6 different champagnes, all explained by the waiter. We had some limited nibbles as we tasted. The glasses were all full glasses, making it very reasonable for the price. We tried champagnes from small local producers, including separate chardonnay, menuier and pinot noir champagnes, a blended champagne, and two rose's produced in different ways - all in all a great introduction to the different types of champagne available.

We are a french traditional restaurant. We change our menus each week according seasons local products. You will be received by a team of professionals in a convivial ambiance without device nor spangle, in any simplicity and sincerity there.
We were welcomed although we arrived 30 minutes early and the restaurant is clearly a favourite with locals and tourists alike.
The food was tasty (small improvements are possible especially on the starters and desserts), the cheese platter is excellent and the wine menu is very good as well.
The service was friendly and warm.
Overall=8/10.

Arrived around 845, were seated right away but then didn't get served again for 25 minutes. Took our food order but hadn't even given us a drinks menu. We had the set menu and for what it was compared to other restaurants in the area, would rate it average. Starters were ok, mains terrible and dessert ok too (flavours didn't really work well together). Whole thing took over 2 hours, even when they could see we hadn't finished each dish. Very slow. The concept sounded good at the start but wouldn't return.

We were thrilled that the local tourist office recommeded this lovely restaurant to us during a day trip to Epernay. We received a warm welcome from the chef and his wife and the atmosphere was cosy and inviting. You feel the passion for cooking from the moment you step over the threshold.
The lunch set menu at 33 Euros was a delight. I began with salmon sashimi in a ginger sauce and then moved on to a delicious sea bass in champagne sauce. The desert was an exquisite tarte fine de pommes. The wine list was immense but of course we had a glass of champagne. The champagne menu is presented with all the labels of the different champagne houses...... would 100% recommend this restaurant during any visit to Epernay.
