this is a well situated restaurant in Eisenstadt, with a good flair and modern ambient. The food was tasty and well prepared, but the service was terrible. The waiter was extremely arrogant and obviously with bad manners. This boy was blames with his terrible attitude the good job done by all other people. We will never come back there.

A good Austrian Gasthaus, i.e. a pub with home cooking, but in this case really excellent home cooking, at reasonable prices, and good sized portions, with a strong Hungarian influence, and (when I visited) a local clientele. Service was good for a restaurant of this type. The waiter sounded Hungarian, spoke good German and English. They closed at 9pm but we were told they would stay open later if it was busy. Recommended.

Restaurant Und Hotel Im Burgenland
While staying at Hotel Ohr, we ended up eating at this lovely restaurant several times. We especially enjoyed the typical German mixed salads and a house special of spaetzle with pumpkin and cheese. Delicious! Prices were good and the patio atmosphere was perfect on a late summer evening!!

This restaurants offers a very nice menu, including venison specialties, and it is obvious that people just come to enjoy a cool one.( I can't judge, as I don't drink beer.) The food is well prepared and presented, and the helping are ample. We were travelling in early fall, and we decided to sit outside in the very pleasant shaded courtyard. This place can be recommended for anybody: good food, good value, nice ambience - it is a winner!

well the reputation of the place is extraordinary but the food does not come close to a fine Italian kitchen -the pasta is homemade but al dente means here really you need good teeth

This small local roaster is the spot for the tastiest coffee in Eisenstadt, no question. The cafe is welcoming and relaxing with a friendly staff and owner. Their waffles and ice cream concoctions are delicious! The only 'meh' rating is for their food (breakfasts, toasts, etc.), which are no more special than anywhere else really.
They are open Sundays until the evening--a huge plus in Eisenstadt.

Visiting (from Tanzania) my 82 year old parents in Eisenstadt and we decided to have a family celebration (their birthdays) with my brother and family(Vienna) and daughter California, USA). Food was okay but that was it. Too many things did not work: the table that was promised to my mother ( she had done the booking in person on Wednesday (3 days before) was taken when we arrived (5 minutes ahead). Explanation: oh the other party had booked long before.... so why not stating in the time of booking that that table was NOT available.
We ordered drinks/ food at the same time , and it was remarked that being good so the order could be immediately fulfilled. Nice suggestion if it would have. The aperitifs came quite late and the ones who had order non-alcoholic drinks did not get theirs for a long time. As we wanted to toast to our 82 year old parents we waited and once the finally arrived the aperitifs were warm and not anymore enjoyable. Then one main dish ( yes it was a alt wiener suppeneintopf which was ordered as a main course (and stated in the menu as such) arrived first, supposedly butvitvwas announced as fritatten supper so my dad sent it back. Then the two soups ordered as starters arrived and soon the same soup now suddenly the Eintopf? Reappeared not sure if it was still warm. Then two orders came with French fries even if they both were ordered with salad (as indicated on the menu). Yes my daughter 18 years old and my nice 8 years old prefer salad over French fries and no thank you no ketchup. Well my food came it was nice of course nobody asked me if I wanted full size or half size, then most of the main orders with the salads as requested .... Poor sister in law of mine had to wait longer a for her Rostbraten but at least it was good (and we saw it being offered to many other guests before it found our table). Bottom line this is not a five star cafe/ reataurant. I have tried repeatedly many others that a rated lower on trip advisor and are exquisite in service and food. Won't come back soon even if it is very close to my parents place.

Burgenland is wineland!! The Selektion should be on anyones to do list if you love wine. They offer a palette of wine tasting initiatives from 6 to 12 € for three glasses of wine. If you like them, you can buy a bottle or two afterwards. A selection of cheese/ham/olive nibbles are on offer to go with the wine.
