This would have to be one of the best Chinese meals I’ve ever had. I ordered a seafood dish and the freshness of it with all the beautiful seasonal vegetables is beyond words.... it was absolutely beautiful. Plus it’s so nice to order special fried rice and actually get fried rice with more than rice in it, the rice was a meal in itself.
The young man who waited on us was very pleasant. He took the time to have a conversation which was great and often rare these days.
I did notice a for sale sign in the front window of this business as I was leaving. Such a shame if they are going because I’d love to go back next time I’m in Eden.

This has one of the best views from a pub anywhere in the world, it's absolutely awesome, sit outside and enjoy your meal for something special!! Our group had 13 people inclusive of kids, there is a good choice of meals for all tastes, the staff are all friendly and the meals were presented well considering it's the busy season. Prices were good for the type of meals chosen.

You'll find good old fashioned service at this cafe/delicatessen. There are mature aged ladies serving, which is refreshing to see! You can get generous sandwiches and generally simple meals, & all very reasonably priced. It's the pick of eateries in Eden, & the Main Street. There is also a small but nice selection of cakes and slices.

Award-winning local produce store and cafe, catering to a wide range of dietary needs. Fresh, colourful and delicious range of meals with lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options. We will always strive to alter or create a meal to meet your needs, including smaller serves for children. Lovely outdoor dining areas, including a garden.
Sprout is a wonderful cafe serving wholesome food. There is great variety if baked goodies and organic vegetables and homemade ice cream. We shared a ABC juice and a very yummy piece of chocolate brownie with walnuts. The coffee was excellent. The staff were friendly...MoreReceiving reviews like yours makes it all worthwhile! Thank you so much, Anita - it’s great to know we’re delivering on our promise!

Good variety of Pizza's here and not bad value actually. One can eat in or take away and it's worth a look at the specials when you get there. Friendly service is a bonus!

Wharfside Cafe is a fully licensed cafe/restaurant situated on the harbour in Eden, New South Wales. Our view is beautiful and the fact that it is a working port makes it interesting as well. Dolphins come in close during winter and we have a resident seal that can quite often be seen playing around. Our cafe possesses a unique character with a mediterranean seaside feel. We take pride in serving fresh local seafood as well as a range of non-seafood meals and vegetarian options. We cater to the gluten intolerant and those with food allergies. Children are always welcome and we have choices for them as well. Our DiBella coffee is regarded as the best in town and we like to maintain this high standard. We are a friendly team of service staff who always strive to please our customers. During the high season we recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment. We look forward to serving you soon!

Not the best service in the world but certainly some of the best oysters that I have had in a very long time.
Only stopped for a beer, which incidentally are very good but just could not resist 6 oysters only to have another 6!
Greedy probably but who cares.
You order at the counter and they bring the food over, one of the girls was not very interested in us at all as against the other one could not have been helpful, sadly I do not have names.
Any way try them if you are passing.
The view from the rear is totally spoilt by a liquor warehouse and it is my guess that this hotel was there first, how the local planners allowed the warehouse to build a roof hisg enough to obscure the view beggars believe.

A very straightforward place that serves good fresh oysters and simple fish and chips. Late January and early February meant some fish that are not normal in Sydney were available. Latchet was delicious. Chip portion are most generous but the staff are often a little harried. Still. if in Eden - go. We ordered food 3 times during our stay.

We visited Eden today to check out the museum.
More on that in another post.
We walked the Main street to look for a lunch venue
We settled on Eden Fish and Chips.
Great choice
The young lady behind the counter was helpful friendly and very knowledgeable
We ordered
A burger with the lot (no egg)
Calamari basket
Schnitzel bacon chips and gravy
I’m somewhat of a burger snob. This one nailed it. Home made pattie fresh salad and overall a good size
The calamari was a very substantial portion containing 6 large rings in a nice crisp batter on a good size serving of chips.
The schnitzel too was a substantial serve with an even larger serving of chips and adequate gravy.
Although we were given a docket with our number the young lady brought our order out to our table and made sure we had all that we needed
If your in Eden this place is definitely worth a look.
