The place, yet a bit remote is nice way out of the major tourists crowd in Karlovy Vary. You need take a bit of uphill walk to find it, yet it is worth visiting especially for the loval cousine.
The place is nice and rather good value for money, our service guy has not spoken any foreign languages to communicate, but there are german and english menues - not exactly correctly translated, so be ready for surprises - like mash potato comes out a potato panckakes... (in german version of menu).
Overall plrices are very reasonable, place is in the nice location away from trafic and tourist and it is nice for the sport events to watch on the big screans.

Gourmet restaurant at international level
During our visit to Marianske Lazne we have been advised this restaurant as a an luxury place for dinner. This place is definitely overrated. Choice of the dishes presented in the menue is very poor. It took about 20 min for the staff to take our order. Spagetti were overcooked and sticky, salad with the prawns over loaded with leafs and absolutely tasteless. The only star I would give for the mash and piece of chicken we have orders for the child off the menu, she seemed to enjoy her food. Huge bill for very poor food. We went to the hotel and ordered some food after visiting this place

This is a small restaurant, with a limited menu - every item excellent! We enjoyed a light dinner of tapas, followed by the absolutely amazing pineapple ravioli with strawberry and mascarpone. Our server was knowledgeable, multilingual, and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and modern in design, yet warm and cozy on a cold night.

The title speaks for itself, the soup is super delicious! Excellent service, nice atmosphere, reasonably priced and good food. It's around the corner from main bus station so convenient to eat dinner and chillax if your on a late bus back to Prague.
It's a winner !

We enjoyed our pork medallions in mushroom sauce and chicken skew stuffed with prosciuto. Try dumplings as a side dish, very good. The traditional soup with cream, mushroom and eggs was interesting to try :)
Good service, not so great with english but that did not bothered us. It is a plain local restaurant but with warm atmosphere.

Old venerable Carlsbad is very well kept and still looks beautiful. And buildings like the theatre and the Hotel Pupp (albeit sadly sold down to package holidaymakers these days) are real gems.
Yet there is a certain lack of atmosphere in this town that forces you think that this place has seen better times.
But a dinner at the Promenada dispels all such Reservations. The owners of this place are the best testimonials of the well-deserved reputation of Karlovy Vary as a prime destination for the discerned traveller.
I was there at dinner with my family and the meal was a feast, from the appetisers to the skilfully prepared Crêpes Suzette. As main course,I had excellent venison, whereas my wife and my daughter went for fish.
Service was efficient and warm. And I should give a special mention to the cellar. I tasted an excellent Sauvignon and a very intriguing Zweigeltrebe, which I understand come both from the owners' own winery in Moravia.
Full marks to this restaurant! Highly recommended.

I ate at the Embassy Restaurant In Karlovy Vary in September. Would I eat here again?Yes. Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes.
The restaurant was very nice, the service was fantastic, the food was good and the prices were very reasonable. We ate out on the bridge that crossed the river - a very nice experience.

Our family was founded in 2011. We are located in the city centre of Karlovy Vary. Our capacity is 35 seats. We offer selection of coffee, tea and soft drinks. We prepare for you fresh meals (soups, toasts, bruschettas, salads, buckwheat pancakes, quiches, burgers and breakfasts). We bake our own cakes. Monthly we change a picture gallery. And what is our motto? Our goal is a satisfied customer, who keeps coming back and gives our job a real meaning.
This is an amazing cafe I highly recommend to check out. We came here twice for breakfast. The coffee was by far the best we had here. BLT and the pancakes were my favorites. Also try one of the cakes. Honestly: we're spoiled from the great foodie stuff we got in Berlin, but there you won't find a breakfast like this.

New restaurant "DOMA" focused on the Czech contemporary cuisine is now open! Menu based on local ingredients and traditional recipes, adapted to light and pleasing appearance. The offer includes a tasting menu, Czech specials, light salads and homemade desserts.
This is a nicely situated restaurant with a modern atmosphere. The service is friendly. Unfortunately the chef has little taste: everything is under-spiced. There is also no feeling for the correct temperature: cheese and goose liver parfait were ice cold, reducing the taste. The fish and goose leg needed salt, but there was none on the table. No spices to detect.
Its not bad! It's just too blunt for our taste and with too little knowledge on the products that are offered.
