Nestled on the southern tip of the Gulf of Tadjoura, the seaside capital of Djibouti is a modest harbor town and a major port of trade and travel via Ethiopia and other points in Africa, especially as the terminus for the Djibouti-Addis Ababa Railway. Beaches along the eastern shore provide some respite from the blistering heat, while the chaotic central market is alive with activity throughout the day.

The chicken skewers were great, as well as the sushi and tempura. I recommend this place highly. Very short distance to the Kempinski. Service was fine, but bring francs, as it takes a while to get change in USD.

for Djibouti it is one of the bearable pizza restaurants in the city, but nothing else the calazone is really bad it had raw eggs on it. for an african standard restaurant it will do. prices are crazy higher than USA and low quality but no other options. for Djibouti it is a 5 for usa it is a one.

I went to the restaurant several times for meals and the food is great. The restaurant is by the sea side and the breeze is great in such a hot country.
The food is fresh and clean and the service good, albeit a bit slow. The food is also a bit pricey considering the portions are a bit small. However the place is one I would like to go back to whenever am in Djibouti. They also take US Dollars and so easier to pay if you have not changed your currency. The hotel is one of the few you will get food in the afternoon considering most eating places close from around 1:00- 4:00 PM. It may be because of its proximity to the sea port. If in Djibouti, do not hesitate going there for a meal.

I have eaten here twice, and both times the food was excellent. We sampled a number of starters around the table, and the squid in a nice tomato sauce, and the mussels dressed in olive oil and shallots were both terrific. The locally sourced seafood is unbeatable (both for starters and mains), and follow the suggestion of your server as to what is freshest and best. I had jumbo prawns that where practically lobsters on one visit, and wonderful grilled fish on the other. The bread is worthy of the best Parisian boulangerie. The service is friendly and informal, and the interior is inviting. Yes you will pay for your food, but in my opinion the price represents good value for money.

The entertainment is what puts this into a five rating for me. The food is very good, but a little expensive. The entertainment is what makes it worth the extra money. While you eat they have several cultural skits and dances that give insight to the culture. The decor is nice and done in authentic Ethiopian items.

I'm a vegetarian. Most people come here for the fish. I had the pasta with tomato sauce. Incredibly average but inexpensive, quick, and friendly service. No menus in English. I really liked that you could get the fruit shakes with no added sugar. Eating on the patio is nicer than inside but there's nothing to look at. Inside is a bit of a dump. The chairs were clearly delivered with plastic that they never removed and instead have let patrons rip and tear off naturally with wear and tear. It looks cheap and it's such an easy fix.

This restaurant was recommended in Lonely Planet and was recommend to me by an expat living in Djibouti and I'm glad we tried it. The restaurant was pretty crowded at lunchtime (always a good sign), and even though the restaurant staff had very limited English they were very helpful in helping us to understand the process. You go to the back and pick a fish for them to spice up and cook in a tandoor like oven. The fish is then served with a nice "bread" (kind of like a lighter version of naan) and some sauces. They also give you the moukbasa dessert which are a few different variations of a banana and honey type dessert. The prices were a little higher than I was expecting, but the food quality was excellent. Definitely recommend it to others.

No doubt the food is great and authentic there. Many Indian visitors from abroad confirmed it. The place itself is not really sexy, but the service is friendly and efficient.
The food is always great and the value for money very interesting. Take away is also possible. The owner has always a nice word for the clients.
I recommend with no hesitation. The only Cons is the decoration and ambiance of the restaurant.

Ресторан очень понравился . Ну что мы могли заказать в непосредственной близости от Красного моря - ну конечно же рыбу. Рыба на барбекю была очень вкусной а холодное пиво добавило радость посещения этого ресторана.
