Just to be clear right at the beginning of my review. This restaurant is definitely no ultra stylish, bloated, michelin starred kind of a restaurant. If you want that style of establishement, don't go there.
The outside of the restaurant is....well let's say "used". The interior could use some refurbishment too BUT to be honest......that place is just amazing.
Truth is, the outside and inside looks oldish but who cares if it adds to the coziness of your evening. Right after you step in you're welcomed by the friendly staff with a handshake and a smile followed by a prompt Seating.
The menu offers a good choice of different italian, french and portuguese dishes and some nice wines which make a good accompaniment to your choice of meal.
I would appreciate a larger choice of portuguese dishes though, due to the fact that the owner and staff are from this country. I'm pretty sure that the staff would be pleased to present you a larger variety of their culinary culture.
So if you fancy a good inexpensive meal and you don't care about the "simplicity" of the place, this would definitely be the place were you want to spend some time.
For larger groups the restaurant also offers a separate room which can be arranged for your desires.
TIP: If you are not certain what to choose and you are in for some meat, ask for the horse steak with their red porto sauce and some tagliatellis (not on the menu) . This dish is just pure awesomeness!
For the pasta lovers I recommend the Macaroni San Marino...just mouthwatering

I must say that this might be one of the best Chinese restaurants in the south of Luxembourg. The owner are very pleasant, speak fluent luxembourgish and their whole staff is really attentive and friendly. All dishes are very tastefull, fresh and diversified. The Couronne Royale is a very pleasant exception to the traditional Chinese dishes, some specialties that you won't find in any other Chinese restaurant. A reasonable and appropriate price for these delicious and very diversified dishes.
The interior decoration is unusual, very modern and not comparable with traditional chinese restaurants.
A table reservation is recommendable. A delicious experience ..we come back for sure !!

I've eaten at this place 3 or 4 times before (indoors) and I've always had a pleasant experience and I remember the menu as being creative and original. Yesterday I ate there again (outdoors on the terrace) and the menu seems to have changed. In fact I think it's the exact same menu as the hotel / restaurant next door (same management I believe). In other words, a boring and predictable mix of standard fish, meat, pasta and pizza dishes which is unfortunately too often the case in restaurants in Luxembourg. It's a pity because the service was ok and the atmosphere on the Terrace was relaxed and groovy with some good music playing. The Terrace is generally very nice with tables for dining and also a more relaxed lounge section for drinks. Please change the menu to something more original and I'll come back again!

I'm having lunch in this nice little Indian/Nepalese restaurant one or twice per month and I have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, freshly made and tasty. And the lunch buffet is a bargain! The owners are very welcoming too.

Its a nice restaurant, the food and service are really good. I do absolutely not understand the comments I did read about it as they are not correct! The prices are as all other restaurants in Luxembourg!

Restaurant-pizzeria Stella Rosa was a surprise to me. It is located in a calm neighborhood. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes it cozy and elegant. I was welcomed by the host, who speaks English, and settled me in a very good table. The menu is...MoreHello, I remember you, thank you for your comment, and thank you for your smile ;-) Because although it is always us that are noted, we also appreciate the sympathy of our customers I hope to see you again soon thx for all Guillaume

40 minutes to get a soup (after ordering)
another 70 minutes for dinner
Tortelini in Brodo was nearly Tortelini in hot water.
They tried to give scampis instead of gambas in an ordered gamba menu. No way
Unfriendly service. They just answered on critics in italian.
We were even waiting a long time to get something to drink and the never came to do table to ask. But at the end 3 servors tried to take the dish of one of us, who was still eating...
Really disappointed

My daughter had recommended Gurman as she had been here with some Croation friends. She had constantly urged us to go and we finally went on Sunday 31st May 2015 for lunch.
Our booking was for 13.00 and we arrived just before. We were seated on the ground floor which has "interesting" decor.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
We ordered main courses only as we had been warned of the "big" portions.
The three of us ordered, beignet de Scampis €23, grill Mixte €18 and Cevapcici au Fromage €18. The Cevapcici was ordered by my daughter who had had it twice before and I have to say it looks fantastic. All were accompanied by a salad and either rice or fries. We all agreed that the food was great but it was spoiled by a very, very long wait. The food finally arrived at 14.10 nearly an hour after our order.
We might return.
