So glad we persevered to get to this place. It is so worth it. Just keep going on the crazy little road that seems like it couldn't be right. Don't give up. Keep going. Try the Alarico Terre Nobili vino rosso. Amazing! We were staying in Scalea but drove back here a second time and wish we could have done a half dozen more! Straight through Diamanté. We ate as much as we possibly could and every single dish was exquisite. And the setting is delightful. Make the effort. You will be glad you did.

I honestly can't believe this place has these kind of reviews. I came here with my husband, who is calabrese and a local. I am also a private chef. We waited 20 minutes asking almost every waiter if they can take our order. They all replied saying "their colleague is coming". We literally watched a couple walk out because they didn't want to wait any longer. Finally our server came to take our order. We waited 30 minutes for our appetizers which had a nice presentation but we're nothing special and cold as if they were sitting in the kitchen for too long.
We waited almost an hour for our pasta which was ok. We cancelled our main course because it was too late and we didn't have another hour to wait.
Very disappointed, I'm only hoping that it's just a bad night, but the organization in this place is absolutely terrible. Never again.

Mi trovavo di passaggio dopo aver trascorso una splendida giornata tra i vicoli di Diamante. Dopo aver consultato TripAdvisor scelgo questo Bar per provare qualche dolce tipico. Mi venne consigliato dal cameriere dello stesso locale, come specialità del momento, il "Bacio del peccato" un tartufo ricoperto di cioccolato con crema di pistacchio e mousse al cioccolato fondente e peperoncino.
Buono sì, ma nulla di eccezionale. Il peperoncino non si sentiva quasi per nulla e il pistacchio non sapeva di pistacchio.
Forse le aspettative erano troppo alte.

Good steakhouse right in the heart of town. The menu is somewhat limited to one or two cuts of beef, but the service is good and the steak is always well cooked to your liking. Food is also plentiful and exceptional value.

This restaurant is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea and in a plaza with live music playing all night. The staff is excellent. The filetto con pepe verde was my favorite meal and i also highly recommend the appetizer platter. The vibe is relaxing and you can easily spend hours there enjoying drinks after your meal. If your staying in Diamanté you definitely have to spend at least one night eating at il Diverso.

Buona gelateria situata in un angolo fresco del paese. L'accoglienza, specialmente della signora, è la cosa migliore del locale, sempre un sorriso, sempre un bel modo di farti sentire a tuo agio. Buono il gelato.

We have known Lucio and his sister Antonella for some thirteen years and in this time they have gone from a simple wooden shed to what is now a prime restaurant with great food and fabulous views.
They deserve every accolade they have gained, and when you, whilst sitting in beach-wear are joined by a group of Deputies from Rome for lunch, you know this place has to be pretty special

My wife and I decided to pop in to Cuore Matto while walking along the Lungo Mare in Diamante. We really enjoyed the gelatto, and the prices were very reasonable considering the location right by the Lungo Mare.
