An excellent restaurant, doing great value lunch sets and excellent a la carte dishes. Homely cottage atmosphere and the best thing: It's just around the corner.

Theresas is really worth a visit either lunchtime or dinnertime. If you are lucky you will experience one of the special dinner arrangements with matching wines. Wines and meals are moderately priced. The service is warmhearted and attentive. Don't miss the coffee at the end of a meal!

We had a fab dinner - both fish and meat (goulash) were incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection. Lovely service with English speaking staff, a rarity around here.

I stopped for lunch here with my wife on a beautiful sunny bank holiday Monday.
We chose a table outside on the patio with beautiful views. The patio is adorned with grape vines and is just a great place to sit and eat. Inside also looked beautiful with lots of wood.
The service was very friendly and really helpful.
We both chose barlauchsuppe (wild garlic soup) for starters. I chose the schnitzel and herb potatoes for my main with a green salad, whilst my wife chose the backhendl salat (breaded chicken salad). For dessert, I chose the apfelstrudel whilst my wife had the steirischer eis (Styrian icrecream with pumpkin oil and seeds).
The food was fabulous. Every single dish

My new friends took me to Stocklpeter after a visit to the castle. We had reservations; however, the restaurant was not busy for midday in the winter.
When the waitress found out that I spoke English, she came over and explained the entire menu to me. I was thankful and thrilled with the great service.
I had the grilled chicken salad. Although the grilled chicken was a little dry, the salad dressing helped. It wasn't until a few days later that I discovered the dressing was green due to the green pumpkin seed oil that is popular in the area. It was good.
Stocklpeter is a great place to have a nice lunch or dinner with family or friends.

Essen Spitze, Bedienung freundlich.
Gut geeignet auch für Familienfeiern und Firmenevents.

This is an old style Buschenschank. The food is excellent, the Schilcher wine of Toni Peter a good and reliable companion to any food offered. Try the Brettljause with a wide selection of traditional meat.
