Ancient Corinth is a highly touristic area, so we did not expect to eat particularly good food here. We were wrong! We had 2 huge, really fresh salads and warm, homemade bread. Just perfect on a hot day. We also ordered their fresh lemonade, which was served in something like a baby-cup with a lid and a straw - perfect for keeping the wasps away! The staff were friendly too and at the end of our meal brought us 2 mini ice-creams - all that we needed after a delicious lunch.

Every single meal, from a local pitta to an international burger, is perfectly prepared. And what really assures me it's of a respectable level is its overcrowdness every now and then. The service in it is great, and its location even greater, situated in the middle of the downtown near the centrum.

At the highest part of the village Bozikas, Zeta Augousti enchants guests with her creative traditional cuisine. The taverna with the yard and the panoramic view of the valley of Nemea, will calm the eyes and soul who roam over the blue-green horizon. The wine of Nemea «Agiorgitiko» is served within the artistic context of the tavern, full of the artwork of metal artist Mike Delistathis. Most of the ingredients used for cooking come from their own family farm and are 100% natural and organic. Daily menu varies based on the seasonal products and for the ultimate food experience it's best to call in advance and let the hosts know you are coming. Zeta's amazing food will awaken your senses, and Mike's art will make you feel like you escaped the 21st century rush for a moment, combining into unique dining experience.
Found this review onTA and decided to try this place and it was the highlight of our trip to Athens. Although we were lost and took almost 2 hours to find this place (even with GPS) but we were so delighted to finally find it, on top of a hill, in a tiny Greek village, feasting on homemade freshly prepared local produce from their own farm. We love dining where locals dine and we were so glad we found this place.
We had the most excellent fresh Greek salad, cheese and pork souvlaki topped of with coffee and organic champagne grapes!
Thanks to the hosts for having us, spent a leisurely late afternoon lunch after a hot day visiting the ruins at Corinth.

Disclaimer: I live relatively close to the restaurant and I have a small beef with it as the owner chooses to block the whole pavement with tables, pots and his car, making it highly inaccessible for pedestrians. For this reason and for its cliché name (translates to "Saint's corner"), I avoided it for a long time. However a friend has invited me there a couple of times for lunch and I went with an open mind I would hope.
Just a couple of things about the place first. The restaurant's decoration is almost non existant. Clearly no one has ever put any thought in making it memorable or even cozy. Thankfully I went during summer and I didn't have to endure the inside. Outside is not much of an improvement however. It is by the sea but right across it sits the Port Authority building, blocking any view aside from the industrial setting of Corinth's commercial harbor. Though Corinth is not blessed with a plethora of seaside restaurants, one can find at Kalamia beach places with much more pleasant vistas.
That would have been forgivable if the food made up for it. It doesn't. The restaurant offers a range of greek staples which were on average simple adequately made. The only highlight was a negative one. The fried zucchini was dry and bitter, having none of the crunchiness and juiciness that make them one of my favorite summertime appetizers. I've had beef with pasta as a main dish with a watered down sauce. As a bonus, service was uneven bringing some of the dishes fast while other members of our large group had to wait for their own. The staff excused themselves for being understaffed as some had taken their vacation, something strange to do during high season. The prices were relatively low to be fair.
Overall I can think of many restaurants in Corinth that offer better food and a more pleasant environments. Not even worth a visit if you are a local.

An absolute must to check out and so easy to located. Up the street, last taverna on the right with the super market across the street. Food is delicious, and priced at great prices, so a must! Also has a lovely hotel, Pegasus, enjoyed a three-day stay there.

Good pizza, fresh ingredients, excellent and polite service. The interior is ok, not my taste, but the view is amazing. By the sea. Beautiful. Get the local, fresh, unpasteurized beer. Top.

Very inviting restaurant with lots of friendly dogs around, waiting for some bites from the customers. For a dog lover like me a real bonus. Just a few steps away from the exit of Ancient Corinth historical site. A waitress was waiting for supposed to be guests and was so convincing ( with the help of the dogs), that we chose Tavernaki Tou Gamprou from plenty of other restaurants. We were sitting at the first table, half out - half in, under the umbrellas, but having some fresh breeze, that isn't a negligible factor when the temperature is around 30 C. My partner had a grilled chicken salad and I a Greek salad. We washed it down with some cold beer and were more than happy. The salads were excellent, the waitress gave us a very friendly attentive service with a good chat, the sun was shining, nothing was missing from a perfect day.
Not very likely, that we would go to Corinth again, but if we would, we certainly would go to this restaurant again.

Fortunately, the traffic light in front of the place turned red when we were looking for a place to eat in the city :
- the staff is very welcoming and helpful if you don't speak/read Greek,
- burgers and fries taste delicious,
- and to make things even better: prices are more than reasonable.
Ευχαριστω la Pita Madre !
