This restaurant in Copacabana is quiet cozy and different other places in this town. The menu is quiet fusion, I had Thai Curry as lunch which is delicious and huge. And meet with rice for dinner with fresh salad, quiet taste and nice also.
This upper restaurant the inner design is quiet colorful and has a lot of Colombia feeling (the lady lived bogoda for quiet time), and the lady is super friendly and very knowledgeable about Bolivia, we had really nice chat that day.
Highly recommended!

I ate dinner here on the advise of the receptionist at my hotel. Nice surrounding and good service and food. Probably one of the best restaurants in Copacabana.

La Orilla is an small family business that by no means intents to be competing with international restaurants or food chains. My wife is the chef and I attend the front end customer side with my son. We do our best to try to please most customers but we know that we are not capable to please everyone. Hope your visit to La Orilla is a pleasent one and enjoy mamas cooking.
It’s tempting,to ‘Orilla’ a 5, especially looking at their competition in Copa, but a couple of things prevent this, in my opinion.
The good/great include: warm service with English spoken (if needed), and a warm & comfortable setting in “central Copa”. Lots of vegetarian options, including the two ‘good’ dishes we shared - their take on a green curry & eggplant Parmesan with mashed potatoes. The price was right and I believe this is one of the best choices in town.
House wine was poor, but you don’t come to Bolivia for their wine! (Bec should have had a beer!!)
A solid 4.5 for your dining experience.

I went for the set menu (18BS) they didnt have the trucha on the menu so opted for the chuleta and ws sorely disappointed. Stringy and fatty. The bascis of the salad and rice and papas wre the usual but just OK. Understsand everyone loves the trucha here, wish i had gotten it but the be areful if you arent having trout

ENJOY THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY WITH US. Tatiana, Don and Sebastian (owners) personally run this little cafe. We serve Irish hearty homemade breakfasts and snacks FROM 7 A.M. TO 1.00 P.M. Our sandwiches with Irish homemade bread are a filling brunch option. Our coffee is of a very high quality and our menu is simple, daily made and delicious. We offer you a great meeting place to talk to other tourists or read our tourist tip books. We also have English books for sale. Check us on Facebook for special offers and closure dates.
Hands down the best breakfast we’ve had in South America! Absolutely amazing, the owner is so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful with tips and tricks for South America (there’s even books with tips from other travelers). We are big coffee lovers and this place smashed it out of the park. We’ve been 3 times in our 4 day stay in Copacabana and have tried almost every menu item. Faultless. GO THERE.

Great hotel restaurant and although about double the price of other restaurants in Copacabana the food is excellent. We had the beef fillet and the trout, both were plated in a modern way which is refreshing to find here. The service staff are very friendly and make an effort to ensure a pleasant experience.

This place had decent reviews so we stopped in, we soon regretted it. We were the only customers there but our food still took almost 40 minutes. Not only that, but a giant blue tube running through the middle of the restaurant burst and flooded the entire floor. The people mopping with dirty rags were also handling the food, we almost walked out but our food came right at the second we were getting up to leave. Our burgers were pink and lukewarm, the fries were pretty chilly and barely edible. Maybe we caught them on an off day, the owner did apologize, but we will for sure never be going back. Not impressed in the least.

They serve turistic menú: wich is basically served in most places in Copacabana the diference here is that they have fresh food, they serve quinoa soup, trout or vegetables and desert. Also they have a big variety of Italian food, pizza is between 50 and 65 bob which is less than 10 dora and it can work for 3 people.
The owners make you feel so confortable they lend you games such as monopoly and Jenga, also wifi (fast)

As in my other Copacabana reviews, food in this great lakeside town is largely of a very poor quality.
With that in mind, the pizzas, polenta and pastas offered by this small family restaurant at the base of Las Olas are of a good standard, cooked fresh while you wait.
A short menu pays dividends and prices are reasonable.

Artisan baked goods, quiche, pizzas and sandwiches hand made on site with fresh quality ingredients. We offer a variety of beverages such as fresh brewed coffee, teas. We have high-end South American wines as well as a selection of cold beer and soft drinks. We view ourselves as a carry-out restaurant, but limited Seating is available. Book exchange and free traveler information. We also sell international cooking ingredients. Profits support sustainable economic and agricultural projects for the indigenous people of the Lake Titicaca area.
When we arrived in Copacabana by bus we were super hungry. Soon we found this lovely place on the main plaza where we sat down and had a quiche and a cake....WOW that was amazing! The coconut cake was for sure the best cake i had in Bolivia. The owners are amazing, they gave us great tips for isla del sol and asked if we wanted to leave our big backpacks at their place so we could hike without it. After the stairs of isla del sol we were very thankful for that tip! Next day we came back and had again great crispy pizza with lots of good toppings and super tasty bananabread. Pitty we are not coming back to Copacabana anymore but would defenitely recommend this place!
