Wonderful Roma Location that always has queues. Prepare for 20 minutes at least. Reminder after you pay, present the small receipt to the Servers. You can take away or they will bring to your table. Since 1935! Crispy and doughy at the same time. Other ways to have the Churros by Cookies and consuelo's (Ice Cream Bar) and mini Churros (bite sized). Cheap as all get out. Hard to spend more than US$10 or so. Good luck and enjoy!

We came here for lunch and it was packed! We were eager to try the place so we ended up waiting about 30 minutes for a table. The place is huge with two floors of dedicated dining space. We were seated on the second floor at a table in the middle of the restaurant. The menu is long and a bit exhaustive, but they try to have something for everyone. The vegetarian options were limited, but the server and the maître d tried their best to find items that worked for us. We ordered a cactus salad quesadillas, enchiladas, and a pitcher of sangria. The food was good and the portions were generous. It’s solid Mexican food, but nothing that will blow you away. What will blow you away, is the exceptional service that will have you waiting 30+ minutes for a table.

Where the culture that inspires mexican food is taught.
Zefiro is an exceptional restaurant in Mexico City because it is home to one of the best schools of gastronomy, at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana. It is located one block away from the old convent of the St Jerome nuns, where in New Spain times the famous Sor Juana spent her life writing poetry, theater and cooking books!!! The restaurant offers a unique menu of traditional Mexican dishes prepared and presented in absolutely modern ways, The cocktail list is also very creative. The main dining room is a fusion of modern and colonial architecture, quite nice, with very pleasant baroque music from the colonial epoch in the background . There is also a Terrace outside, in a large quiet patio where service is also offered. The clientele is diverse, all appreciative of gourmet food. I have been there twice, with family and with work colleagues, and find the place quite recomendable. I have tasted the tamal de chaya, the chicharron soup, the pork in chichilo mole, the fish tacos, the crab tacos, the pork in manchamanteles sauce, and very elaborated desserts. Students of the gastronomy school function as waiters and provide ample explanations, if required, about the ingredients and cooking techniques used in each dish. The restaurant is a bit hidden becuase of the layout of narrow old streets in the part of the old capital of New Spain, but the easiest way to get there is to go to the corner of Izasaga Avenue and Isabel la Catolica Street, walk one block north along Isabel la Catolica and then turn left at the small street, where you will finf Zefiro just 50 meters ahead on your right,

There are two locations near downtown for Pasteleria Ideal. Thankfully our hotel was about a block away. My girlfriend and myself love bakeries, and had to stop here daily at least once! Pasteleria Ideal is almost overwhelming with the amount of pastries, cookies, and cakes they have. I love the self serve style they do in Mexico, you grab a tray and tongs and select your own pastries. Once done, let them wrap it up at the counter, pay, and you are on your way! My favorite pastries here have to be the filled croissants and cinnamon roll type pastries. I wish I could keep coming back to try more. The prices are very reasonable and they seemed to be open all day, definitely save room for dessert and stop in Pasteleria Ideal!

A very attractive restaurant with friendly and efficient service. Food was very good, a lot of dishes I was unfamiliar with, but all quite good. A large wine, beer and mixed drink menu, again I was unfamiliar with most of the mixed drinks. It's more...MoreWe're glad that you enjoyed your time with us and look forward to welcoming you again soon. Also, thanks for taking the time to review us.

The right place to taste an original and artisanal Italian pizza made by an Italian chef in a stone oven; we speak Italian, German and English - visit us!
The Dow is very good.
But they use gas oven instead of wood oven.
They use many frozen ingredients instead of fresh ones.
The tomatoes sauce is not home made it’s an industrial one.
It tastes exactly as Dominos pizza.
The place is nice and people are very attentive but the pizza is not great at all.
Prices are very cheap.
The place is clean.
