An unplanned stop at this wonderfully restored Dak Bungalow was the highlight of our Cherrapunjee visit. Very tastefully re-decorated recently, this place served excellent Chinese food for lunch in their beautiful dining room. Service was with a smile! Loved the location & Decor!

7 Trep food stop is a fantastic quiet place to have dinner/ snacks after tiring day of sightseeing and trekking. Best thing is they allow you to smoke inside restaurant, provided you are siting inside. Although ambiance is not very highly rated yet the calmness of place and pleasant way of talking from owners make up for all the negatives they might have.
We had dinner every single night here and on last day the lady even asked us about our stay that was really satisfying apart from their delicious food. We had veg spring rolls, chicken momo, chilly chicken, daal, Pork Chilly etc. each one was delicious and we ate till we were full and they are not expensive either. They talk in english to there should not be any language problem as such.
Two things are highly recommended Milk/ Red Tea and veg spring rolls.
A must go place in Cherra..

This place works rather like a fast food joint where you pay before you eat but in this case payment is made at a small window resembling an old fashioned railway ticket office. Payment out of the way it's time to wash up in the very clean washing area. Once you have a table a lady comes and takes your payment slip and before long your food arrives - as much rice as you can eat and good sized portions of whatever you've ordered. As a European I used a spoon and fork without attracting much interest from the other diners who mostly used their fingers.
So, good tasty food in large portions served in clean surroundings at a very fair price.

Arwah cave is one of the tourist attraction, however, the road to the cave is little bumpy and not maintained compared to the rest of the town. The restaurant is right at the entrance to the cave which is place at a higher altitude.
