Oh where do I begin.... Sadly they're aren't many places to eat in Chase, BC, where we were zip lining, so we found this place. First of all there was only one waitress who was also the bartender and while we were there was also the cook. The board of health needs to check up on this place because as I happened to noticed the same women who took our drink order and food order also served us our drinks and meal then I noticed she went into the kitchen to marinate a large roast beef then without washing her hands and only wiping them off on her apron she then made someone their drink putting her hands in the ice bucket. Had I seen all this before we placed our order I would have walked out immediately but unfortunately we have already eaten and we're now hoping threat we didn't get sick. As for a recommendation to this place NO run away as fast as you can.

Stayed at Quaaout Lodge for 4 nights for work and ate in the lounge 3 times. The service was always friendly and prompt and the food did not disappoint. The broccoli Cheddar soup was exquisite and the chicken bacon brie burger was really tasty. It would be nice to see an IPA and/or a stout on tap, especially going into winter. They did have the local Crannog brewery’s Irish ale though which was good. The staff was also very accommodating in changing the tv’s from basketball to hockey when I asked nicely!

Not a single complaint about Pete's. Always delicious, always a good price. Great for family dinners, or hockey team events.

We weren't planning on breakfast out, so this a pleasant surprise. Hubby and I both had the omlettes and they were filling and tasty. My friend had the french toast that looked impressive! The coffee was hot and hit the spot! Fast service and friendly too.

Absolutely love this food vendor. Gluten Free Options and the price is absolutely right.
They have a very nice Seating area outside their truck, makes for a great spot to stop and enjoy a picnic style meal.
Note: they only accept cash. My only suggestion to them to be to offer card payments.

My wife and I were driving to Banff from Vancouver and stop at these types of places whenever we can during road trips. Golden Ears Farm is a locavore haven. They are also a fruit stand with loads of local produce, but their baked goods are worth the stop (and worth going out of your way honestly).
Because this is the first review/listing of this place, I can't post my photo of the nectarine raspberry pie. It was sublime. Not overly sweetened, the nectarines retained enough texture to have a bit of toothsomeness left. The crust was flaky and neither too moist nor dry (the perfect Delivery device). The cookies were also phenomenal, the kind you wish your mother ever made (but let's face it, she was never that creative!).

This little restaurant is tucked away in the Chase Country Inn just off Highway 1 in Chase. The menu is mostly Japanese although there are some Korean selections as the owners and staff are Korean. The pace is very clean and cozy, the service prompt and friendly, the servings generous, the price very reasonable, and best of all, the food is delicious. Great place to stop for lunch if you are on the highway heading to Vancouver or Calgary (or anywhere!)

On a local recommendation we went here for a light lunch and ended up very satisfied with our experience. The restaurant is located in an old hotel building and still has some of the ambiance. It is as also laid out in a rather spacious, roomy fashion with tables well separated. The menu is fairly limited but what they do they do well. We were not very hungry so we chose to share a 2 piece fish and chips and a soup. The server very nicely brought out the latter in two bowls and included an extra plate for the former. Both were entirely satisfactory. That food plus a couple of soft drinks totaled to $23 after taxes but before tip. A good sign was the presence of a table full of local matrons having what seemed to be a regular lunchtime get-together. We left very satisfied and would readily go back when next in Chase.
