The starter and dessert courses were fine but the overall experience was spoiled by the lack of vegetables with the main course and someone needs to show the chef how to make oven baked potatoes. Also, 3 hours for a three-course meal from the set menu was excessive.

Anchored in the face of(in front of) the sea on the new port(bearing) of Cavalaire on sea, the restaurant " THE COUNTER OF THE FLAVORS " transports you in a cosy universe to make you discover its cooking(kitchen) subtle and refined without forgetting its specialities of the peach(fishing). Its menu, a card(map) of season trés original, its terraces giving onto boats, " THE COUNTER OF THE FLAVORS " waits for you noon(south) and evening from February till October on the new port(bearing) of cavalaire on sea.
On arrival there is great attention to detail: drink orders are taken, followed by tapenade, and the menus. At no point does one feel neglected although this is a busy and popular restaurant. The decor and Seating is comfortable, both inside and out. The wine list is extensive and reasonable for the area. We chose the table d'hote menu at 28.50 Euros which we was excellently presented; the food freshly cooked with a good variety of vegetables. At each course Cecile the charming waitress comes to the table to ask "is everything alright" - a nice touch. We had a wonderful meal at a reasonable price and will return.

We tried eating here & it was fully booked with locals which we took as an excellent recommendation so immediately booked for following night at 8pm! They had saved 2 tables for us - inside & under the exterior canopy! Good job as all the remaining inside tables were taken by French! We had a great meal with good local wine & excellent service! The mixed platter starter had the most amazing battered prawn- in still dreaming of it!
Yes we shall return & will ordered them as a main dish !

Although we arrived rather late for lunch, we were welcomed with a nice smile in this quiet restaurant just outside the city center next to the road to St Tropez. We ordered carpaccio and pizza ... The carpaccio was beautifully cut, the complete dish was well-prepared and looked and tasted very well. The pizza was the best '4 fromaggi' I had during the last 5 years : excellent crust with a thick topping of good cheese. The price/quality for both dishes ... Very good ! Friendly service.

Under the reeds, facing the sea, amidst an exotic garden, a relaxing atmosphere, the Delicatessen Restaurant offers seasonal cooking, tasty and full of color. Here vegetables, fish, meats are cooked traditionally cooked or grilled to offer you all the flavors of the Mediterranean. Find out if not already!
Had a nice dinner here. Menu was great and service very friendly. We are unfortunately not fluent in french so well spoken english was a plus. Menus are relatively simple but delicious. Menu enfant also great. What they called "nuggets" found out to be great and healthy self-made meal for the children. Prices are at a level which is typical for this town and region - i.e. not cheap.

The "Little Creprie" is located just opposite the main beach. The sweet and salty crepes are delicious. They are best accompanied by an Apple cider. The service staff is very friendly and efficient. The wait for food is never long even when the restaurant is completely full. It is recommended to reserve a table during peak times in the evening.

Le Bellini has an authentic Italian flavour to it's food and there is a great choice of dishes. Vegetians are catered for. The food is well presented and the portions are generous. The pizzas arrive in two enormous squares, more than adequate for two. Prices are reasonable. There is a warm and welcoming ambience about this restaurant and a desire to please. We enjoyed our experience and will return.

Credit to this restaurant for being open for lunch when all around was closed. It was a quiet mid-week. A warm welcome and Seating inside an area that looked well maintained, possibly refurbished. But the food - how shocking. A parmentier d'agneau and a pizza both looked and tasted like items bought from the frozen section of food stores. Artificial flavours (dry herbs, pasteurised garlic puree etc) and all for a price that defied good sense. The meal was rounded off by an espresso served at room temperature.

By and large a great place to eat and drink on a warm sunny day and we usually come here at least once when staying locally. However the cooking can be a bit hit and miss so my advice is to stick to the more obvious dishes rather than being adventurous.

Extensive choice and all produced fresh and to perfection. Friendly service and you have the option of eating there as well. Its on the sea front so you can make the most of the views.
