We enjoyed our meal in the informal atmosphere. Excellent food and service. We were offered to taste some wines, but only wanted a glass each, so declined. We ended up paying four Euros each for a 125ml glass of unexceptional red wine, which is expensive. The fixed price menu was good value, however.

Ordered the filet of beef (medium) with potato gratin and girlfriend ordered seabass with risotto.
Got the food reasonably fast, however the filet of beef turned out to be raw (still white fat on it) and the risotto with the fish was undercooked (crunchy rice).
After sending the filet of beef back it came back after just a minute or 2 and I cut it open with great skepticism to find it very rare.
We just ate what we could and then got up to pay (could not be arsed to keep going with this circus as gf was almost done at this time and potato gratin was lukewarm)
When the server realize we aren't happy and I explain the issues she just gives me a weird excuse about that everyone's else food is good and that they have good reviews reflecting blame back at the customer.
1/5 would not visit again.

For a place rated n.6 in cap d'agde on tripadvisor, I was pretty disappointed. Rushed service, poor plating, same garnishes in each of our lamb, beef and duck dishes. Much better alternatives in same price range and cheaper per our experience.

Had to book this place a few days in advance, even for lunch - that's how busy it is. Not many tables, it's basically a fishmongers shop with a small restaurant out front. But it is an absolute delight.
A very welcoming host, even for us Brits abroad, who took time to explain the food available. I opted for a seafood platter, including oysters, which was absolutely amazing. My wife had gambas sauvage, or wild giant prawns, which she described as the best she's ever tasted. Kids were satisfied too.
I can see why this place is so busy and gets such a good rating. If this was in my home town, I'd be back every week.

Homemade ice creams since 1974. We make ice creams and sorbets on the spot in our laboratory. In front of the beach, face to a walking place, ideal for families, we make you taste near 80 different sundays, salted ou sweet crepe. We also have really surprising cocktails.
For us, each holiday trip to France needs to include at least one restaurant which serves pancakes au sarrasin, based on tripadvisor comments, we chosen this one and we were not disappointed. There is another recommended resto nearby, but we decided for this one, because the view is much better, close by the sea and it is airy, which is good on a hot noon. For lunch, there is a very good deal with a small menu, with pancake au sarrasin (egg, cheese and ham), a sweet pancake or 2 boule of icecream (you get to choose from a huge list of home made flavours) and a cup of cider (or sparkling water). If you prefer ice-creams only, huge choice available and be ready with your camera to grab a picture of the tower of ice and cream served.
Enjoyed an excellent lunch and would return next visit in Agde.

After a long drive my wife and I needed some good food, we drove in to centre port Cap d'Agde, but, it being Sunday evening, were disappointed to find that nearly all of the many restaurants were closed. On a cold night the restaurant had a comforting calor gas heater going. My wife and I sat down to pave de beef, and it was as tender as fillet steak. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
