This place actually happens to be a Hotel with an average cafe/restaurant in the foyer. Located by the side of the river between Kim Dong and Pho Thau.
Yes the manager is a bit of a cranky lady, however with the assistance of another lady our group of 5 arranged some overnight accommodation here. Across the garden square is the Huong Sen 2 with some affordable rooms over 4 levels. We were taken by the softer spoken lady to view the rooms before agreeing to roughly $10 a night cost. Once settled in we relaxed in the garden area with a ice cold beer courtesy of the manager.

Estavamos com grande expectativa sobre esse lugar, mas acabou decepcionando pelo tamanho dos pratos que são muito pequenos. Sou brasileiro, gosto de fartura!! A pizza é a menor do mundo, assim como os hamburgueres, a cerveja é quente e servida no copo com gele. A unica coisa q realmente era boa é o bolinho de frango e um prato de comida que tinha frango frito e empanado.

Trên đường đi thăm Cao Bằng, hai lần đoàn dùng bữa tại đây. Lẽ dĩ nhiên cũng chẳng phải ngẫu nhiên, dù cho là được giới thiệu trước nhưng thông thường người ta vẫn muốn thưởng thức hai lần ở hai nơi khác nhau xem sao. Tuy nhiên bạn sẽ không phải tiếc nuối vì quả thực ở đây món ăn tốt, phục vụ nhiệt tình và cơ bản là có vẻ sạch sẽ.

These were not just the best Pizza's I had in Vietnam but among the best I have had world over. They are thin, light and yummy. In fact, they were so good we even ended up getting a few packed for our dinner. Like everywhere else in Vietnam, the prices are reasonable and the beer cheap. We are vegetarians and tried out all three pizza's they had on offer, all of them were great. We also tried out the Pancakes, these were mediocre at best.

Stopped at this awesome wee cafe for a ca phe sua da (VN iced coffee) upon arriving to Cao Bang and it was great!! The guys who work there were super chilled out, they made a great coffee and juice and then we spent the next hour playing cards and pool at the pool table inside.
It seemed pretty quiet (as did most of the town to be fair) so it was perfect for relaxing.
