Pasion was recommended to us by a staff member at the resort we were staying in. Whenever abroad I always ask locals if they could eat anywhere, where would it be. Passion was the immediate answer from several employees. Located outside of Fajardo, Pasion is a very upscale restaurant that specializes in seafood dishes. Our party of four ordered a variety of entrees in order to try as many menu items as possible. The snapper was delicious and the fish presentation was a favorite! From the time we walked in the door the service was excellent and the food was spot on. I ordered a side of sweet potato fries and they were absolutely cooked to perfection and delicious. The restaurant is approximately a 35 minute drive from San Juan and is definitely worth the time.

Breakfast and lunch, all kinds of pastries and cakes, opens from 6:00 am to 9:30 pm Monday to Sunday
Great place to have breakfast or lunch; loved their coffee and "Sobao' bread" (soft bread) you can eat all the bread at once, it's sold by pound and believe me it's the best. They have a variety of pastries and sandwiches, also, you can order scramble eggs with toasts. This is not a huge place but a lot of people go there everyday; the food worth the wait!

Fern’s design is based on the many cultural influences throughout the Caribbean; a fusion of Latin and Afro-Caribbean materials and textures interpreted in a contemporary manner within a Spanish Colonial Building. The rich brown textured floor is a nod to the early cigar plantation and has a reclaimed texture and feel. This is matched up against very modern silver leafed cork walls accented with handcrafted modern African light fixtures. The red accents reflect the energy and passion of the Puerto Rican culture. The style of furniture is an eclectic blend of range of styles from the mid 20th century to the modern organic lines of today. The design acts as a backdrop to “frame” the spectacular ocean view; the materials chosen reference the indigenous materials found by the sea and reflect the sparkle and luminosity of the moonlight on the ocean. The space is meant to captivate and maintain interest, while providing a quiet sophisticated backdrop for the preparations of Jean-Georges. Dress code: Breakfast: The dress code for breakfast is resort casual. Shirts, shoes (not barefoot), and bathing suit cover ups are required. Dinner: The dress code for dinner is resort upscale. Bathing suits, sleeveless t-shirts/tank tops, men's shorts and beach flip flops are not permitted.
Fern is an excellent restaurant. The food is exceptional, as is the service. There is a dress code (pants for men - though we did see some men in shorts, but I would not feel comfortable in shorts). You can wear a jacket, though you don't need to. We ate here 2 nights we were at the St. Regis. The least expensive was $220, the most was $320 (w/ drinks). All in all, not to be missed. It is a great restaurant.

Appetizers were below average - the sample Boricua was a selection of bland over-fried items. Entrees were average, but when considering the price, we felt over-priced. The one that stood out was Medallones de Cerdo Rellenos.

Tried El Verde BBQ on a whim our first night in town. Fabulous find. Foods was very good and reasonably priced. Had batata (sweet potatoes), fried pork, chicken and rice. Menu-friendly for non-spanish speaking.

This has been the most HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE EVERRRRRR!!!! I was having an early dinner with my husband and in my soup i found a CATERPILAR!!! The most upsetting thing was that instead of the OWNER o MANAGER to come and apologize the sent a waitress, with it wasn't even our server! They gave me my money back BUT still very disappointed and of course..... IM NEVER COMING BACK!!!!

This bakery was recommended, by someone we met at the condo complex we were staying at and it did not disappoint. Great pastries and large reasonably priced sandwiches for lunch. We also had a good cup coffee here.

We actually heard about this restaurant from the young man who worked at our hotel's pool. He told us to try it because it is authentic Puerto Rican food and not expensive. He was right on both counts. The waiters did not speak english, but luckily our son could get by with his spanish and we were able to figure out most of the menu. The seafood arepa for an appetizer was delicious. My shrimp and rice was a huge serving but was rather bland. The crab sauce was great and the conch entree was good but left my husband wishing he ordered something else. We were there for a late dinner and be aware it is in a small section of a non-tourist town. We ate outside and enjoyed the evening.

Restaurant, cafe, Wifi, Unique Gifts and Gallery
We ate here recently while staying nearby at the St. Regis. We went for breakfast and the food and juices were fantastic. We were actually given this recommendation by one of their waiters who also works at another restaurant we ate at nearby. So glad he mentioned it. It was honestly one of the best meals we had and far superior (and more reasonable) than the food at the St. Regis.
