A family restaurant where we will be able to taste plates of the traditional Asturian kitchen. Asturian cuisine recognize enjoys fame for its quality, taste and tradition.
We had a fabulous dinner at this restaurant. The server brought bread with fresh cheese complimentary from the kitchen. Freshly baked bread to begin the dinner was served initially on the house. We ordered a salad, sardines with a carpaccio of orange served on a bed of seasoned and sautéed onions which was more like an onion relish and with sprinkled with almonds, fabada the Asturian bean stew with sausages and rice pudding for dessert. The Fabada was flavourful, sardines with salad was fabulous. The pairing of flavours onions with orange carpaccio, fresh orange juice drizzled on top was just the best. It went together so well with the slightly salty sardines.
The rice pudding was one of the best desserts I have ever had. We asked our host who was the co-owner of this family run restaurant about the unique flavour of this dessert and he said was a blend of orange, lemon, canela and anise. It was so good that one wasn't enough and we ordered another portion.
A fabulous restaurant with fabulous food and great service too. The owner was very friendly and chatted with us about the local architecture, food etc.

Was passing through the village of Benia de Onis, it was wet, cold and lunchtime. We walked past Moreno and it was buzzing so my partner and I took a punt to go in and eat. We had Fabada to start with. Followd by Rabo de Toro, cheesecake and rice pudding a bottle of fab local cider and two coffee all for €22. The food was lovely, served quickly and the staff were very nice, the place was packed with mostly locals and a few tourists, it's one of those places that you are glad you stopped at whilst in the Picos

This is the type of place you really want to find if you are holidaying in an area like this. It is near Peruyes,am small village near Cangas de Onis, but in truth the restaurant is right at the end of a remote country lane, which eventually turns into a cart track. Being from Northern England, I could easily have been driving in the Yorkshire Dales or the Lake District driving around here. It is (almost) as beautiful!
When you arrive, you see some small converted farm buildings and there is a dusty car park to the rear. It looks immediately cosy and inviting and being a the boottom of a narrow, 3 sided vally the sunlight flooding into it makes it look spectacular.
Inside the decor is veialry rustic but tasefully so and actualy quite minimal. It reminded me a smart UK gastropub in the country in terms of its aims, it isnht 'casual dining' but by no means is it formal or stuffy.
The food however is straight out of the local cookery book, but is prepared and presented with much more finesse than a 'typical cheap Asturias eaterie'.
We shared Fabadas and the Tortas de Maize and for the two of us it was more than enough at lunchtime. Very sizeable portions and some of the other plates people were eating were equally enormous and looked equally good.
There was a cosy log fire in the room we were in and for all considerations I would go back here in a heartbeat. Top notch place, worth a detour.
If I had a grumble it would be that old culprit 'Spanish service'; abrupt and occasionally rude, depending on who was serving you, and in this case the fact that one person serving was extremely polite, ensured that this review was a good one.

We went to the Sifoneria following tripadvisor's list. Seeing it was full on an Monday night (it was October), we reserved a table for an hour later (10pm). The regional food is great (we had the Tabla de Embutidos, croquetas and carrilleras ibericas) and they serve Sidra the right way. We were so happy with it we repeated the second night (solomillo and frituras de merluza). Special mention to the desserts: arroz con leche is really creamy and tarta de queso is more cheese than cake, but delightful regardless.
Be advised that the Terrace can get cold at night (at least in October), just keep the Sidra coming to keep you warm

We were recommended this place by the owner of the "casa rural" where we stayed in Sames.
We started by having some cider at one of the tables outside, unfortunately cider is not our thing. Then inside, they started by bringing little glasses with warm Pumpkin cream with specks of "jamon serrano" and a splash of olive oil. Very nice!
Then we ordered the Goats Cheese Salad (lettuce, wild mushrooms cooked with "jamon serrano", tomato) decorated with balsamic vinegar. Very nice again.
Then came the main course, Besugo (Sea Bream) cooked with potatoes, red pepper and onions. For a person who´s first choice is never fish, this was extremely nice. I washed it down with a small (3rd litre) Arzuaga - Ribero del Duero - Crianza 2009 (I know I should have white wine with fish, but I just prefer red wine. So there!)
For desert we ordered the Frixuelos (pancakes) with cream and chocolate and also an almond sponge with ice-cream. Both very good.
Samuel enjoyed his first Necora (crab). And Charlie stuck with his favourite “filete con patatas”.
Overall, we were very happy with the meal, and the service was very nice. We would definitely recommend this place and would go back.
Also the price was very good; it is not cheap, but not excessively expensive at 25-30 euros per person (for the above)

Visited this restaurant for dinner. Nice Terrace to enjoy views of Picos de Europa. Ordered asturian cheeses, fabada and cachopo.
Delicious. The only point is you may better ask for half-portion of each as the amount is really generous. The price for two persons with 4 glasses of vine is less than 50€.
Recommend to visit.

We went to Los Ramos after a tip of the owner of the hotel we were staying it; the restaurant was filled to the brim with locals which is usually a good sign. We preferred to sit inside, but as we were with 2 we were placed in some sort of a tent outside (which was less appealing with noisy children).
Food was ok; loads of sauce on the salad of my partner and my soup was sort of bland; the second dishes were much better and the dessert was just fantastic!! All in all recommendable food wise , but service could be better.

Had two excellent courses here. Revuelta: scrambled egg with mushrooms and prawns. Garlic chicken. A single portion of each was enough for the two of us. Both delicious. Sophisticated? No. Extremely tasty and good value? Definitely yes. Very pleasant and helpful people too.

We ate here one night and had nice food, our only issue would be the Fabada which we have found better prepared and with better flavour most other places. The main courses however were very good and I especially liked mine which was baby eel and shrimp with lots of garlic. We were too full to eat a pudding the portions were generous!
