Shaded spots go early at Cape Town's crowded Camps Bay, where locals picnic and play in the strong Atlantic waves. Look for the flagged bathing areas for safer swims for all the family. Festive cafes sit adjacent to the sands, which are dramatically set at the foot of the Twelve Apostles mountains.

We had booked for lunch at Paranga and even though they do not reserve particular tables, they accommodated us accordin to our request. Even dealing with the music for the fairly deaf guest in our group was no problem. There are loads of goodies on...MoreThank you for the complementary review of your recent visit to Paranga! We love the 5 star rating especially, thank you! We're glad that you enjoyed your experience and we hope to welcome you back soon! Thanks for your support! Kind regards, Paranga Management

Casual and has a sushi belt. I really like the fish and food there. Seats are ok but this is a great value for money. Service is great too.

We booked our reservation a month in advance, for our dinner...specifically, for 1830 (6:30pm), to capture the sunset. We arrived an hour ahead, to have drinks at the leopard bar, which was fantastic..the service, amazing. However..when we arrived for our reservation, we got informed that we got the furthest seat for two in the restaurant..from any window...in fact...way in the back next to the wine storage...no window in sight. In addition, we ordered the tasting menu, & it was well beyond 8pm before we saw the 2nd course....& the staff..not engaging or helpful...We've traveled the world..& have had some of the best culinary experiences ever, in cape town..this was dismal. The location is first class..the service, & quite frankly, the food...3rd class. Would recommend Leopard Bar for drinks..but then leave...not worth the price.

Dinner on a Monday evening and the place the buzzing. Casual atmosphere with friendly professional service made for a comfortable experience. We ate prawns, oysters and mussels to start - the prawns were outstanding. Blue nose for main course with al dente stir fry veg were incredibly delicious. Cheesecake to finish was also surprisingly good. Will remember this place for a long time to come. Highly recommmended.

Cordillia gave us good guidance for our first time here and we had a really superb experience with really good food, really healthful selections and toppings and a great chenin Blanca wine. As a good manager Billy keeps things humming efficiently but with a personal friendly touch. When the manager treats his staff well the staff treat the customers well (not true of all the high end restaurants here in Camps Bay). We were surprised by the good views and good gentle sea air in open windows. This place satisfies all the healthful food needs to keep ones brain and heart in tip top condition.

Italian flavor and style laced in Camps Bay Cool, resplendent with a splash of Kove Collection abundance. This is Zenzero. Zenzero wraps you shamelessly in 'La Dolce Vita' whilst gently caressing with a cool Atlantic breeze. Italian cuisine is all about fresh ingredients and homemade, full flavour. At Zenzero we pride ourselves on just this, the freshest ingredients with zesty, spicy and feisty touches. Alongside Zenzero's signature dishes and spirited vibe, an abundant selection of seafood, pastas and homemade desserts will surprise and delight any palate, through-out the year.
Such a disappointment to eat here on our last night. We’d loved Codfather restaurant and the Retreat...But the risotto was just a mush with no sign of asparagus! The calamari was salty and of poor quality...to add to our disappointment we have both woken up with bad stomachs. This restaurant is relying on its location and not its dining!

Locally sourced and seasonal menu
The staff and management were friendly and accommodating. Choices were limited as lunch was almost over. Perhaps some generic menu options would alleviate this. But I do feel that R185 for pork belly swimming in a broth isn't really good value. The coriander was a...MoreOnes tries ones best to read walk-ins but gauranteed this time of year a spur customer falls thru the cracks

Upmarket, yet relaxed INDIAN restaurant on the Camps Bay strip with Authentic North Indian cuisine served up by Indian Chefs from Delhi with years and years of experience. We are currently serving from this location for the past 7 years. The restaurant opens up on to the view of the Camps Bay beach and is a brilliant venue for a large group of friends, a romantic date or a even a business meeting. We offer a wide selection of vegetarian curries and some Jain & Vegan Options too. We are also Halaal-friendly. We have a full bar - Wine; beer; whiskies; spirits; craft beers and fresh cocktails of the season.
Our party of 7 ordered a variety of meals and they were all absolutely fantastic. The service was attentive and friendly. A perfect wind-free stunning sunset completed a perfect evening. We asked for a table with a view - and as the weather was perfect the doors were totally open - so we had the best of both worlds. Definitely recommend.

We came here a couple of times and had great times testing out the cocktails. The manager Thami and the 2 barmen were great fun and great company, both times we visited it was late and I am sure that they wanted to go home! We never got that impression though and we really enjoyed getting the hangovers that followed!!
Great fun, lively and welcoming staff.
