Campofelice di Roccella (Sicilian: Campufilici di Ruccedda) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Palermo in the Italian region of Sicily, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Palermo. We went to Maremonti for a litle celebration lunch. MareMonti offers a special kind of location, which is in itself worth going there. There is about 5 minutes steep up-hill driving until you get to the venue with its breathtaking view.
Highlights of this restaurant:
- Well prepared & delicious food, also acknowledged by my local Sicilian co-guests
- Very kind and supportive service
- High-quality infrastructure, including remarkably clean bathrooms (a rare feature in the region)
- Great views - especially if you can be there on a sunny, warm day (which we weren't) so you can sit on the roofed terrasse
- Attractive pricing, which does not reflect the quality level you are getting.
There was little problem that one should be aware of: credit cards are not taken - so prepare some cash beforehand.
I will definitively return!

We visited Al Karape this lunchtime after being underwhelmed by the offerings in Solfarelli and Reading the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. Al Karape is every bit as good as the reviews say, and more. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful in advising which dishes to choose, emphasising local Sicilian specialities. Everything was outstanding, in particular the Sicilian sausages, the caponata, and the pasta with cream cheese and fresh black truffles (for €10!) We only wish we had found this sooner than on our last day before moving on ...

If you are looking for a good pizza don't look further as this is the place to be. It also has got nice beers and the service is good enough to make you have a pleasant stay.

Mareluna village is a very beautiful and well kept complex. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. As the only English person staying at my time of visiting they made every effort to make me feel as welcome as everyone else. The food is excellent, well prepared and presented. I would recommend highly to any families looking to stay in Sicily. I had a great time so thank you to all at mareluna village. Salute!

Most of the reviews for this site are in Italian - which I figured must mean that the Italians enjoyed eating here - so we gave it go. We were not disappointed, this is a lovely friendly small restaurant that serves delicious rustic Sicilian food, exceptionally well done, exceptional prices and the reason why we ate there three times during our week long stay. (Not open Monday's)

We came as a family and we were all really impressed with all the food that we ordered. We took one fish menu, one meat menu and a pizza.
The fish menu came with a large antipasti plate, with mussels, grilled calamari, acciughe marinate and more, all being extremely fresh and well cooked. The second plate was with Swordfish, gamberoni and other fresh fish.
The meat menu was equally good, with generous amounts of fresh cold slices in variety and the hot main plate was with mixed grill cuts of meat and sausages, all really tasty.
The pizza was also delicious and a good size.
With friendly staff, the ambience is warm and homey. We definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!

We went there wth a group of 12 and had a reservation. The service was decent. We ordered appetizers that were not anything special. We ordered a meat and cheese platter with all meat and four pieces of cheese. The pizza was good but nothing special. The outside dining was nice.
