My host took me to lunch at Linde for some authentic Swiss food. The food was really very good. I felt like someone's grandmother was cooking in back just for me. The staff was very friendly. The menus were in German so our hosts needed to interpret for us. We had 7 people and all enjoyed their meals and soups. Highly recommend and may look to stay at the hotel the next time I am in the area.

It is not the first place we thought about visiting but we didn't regret the visit. The first surprise is the heavy decoration no that subtil but funny and quite pleasant. The little covered Terrace with small Fountain is nicely kitsch. The service is very professional and friendly (probably the best service we experiment in Brugg). The food is nice. Not very surprising but fresh product nicely prepared. The little digestive offered at the end was most welcome and leave for sure a nice feeling:-)
We will pass by again...

Geo requested for district Habsburg
The Habsburg castle has a very old history. It was the main castle of the Habsburg dinasty. You can learn about this history in the castle.
There is also an excellent restaurant here where you get really great meals in a wonderfull atmosphare. We visited this restaurant different times and never were disapointed with the meals.
I would warmly recommend this castle and the restaurant.

This restaurant is absolute top class, the quality and presentation of dishes are absolutely remarkable. I chose the fish menu (3 dishes), all of them not only well prepared (which is expected for such a restaurant), but sutely balanced in colours, shapes and mixes.
I spent 5 years in the region before knowing this restaurant, but I finally got this experience.
The price of the menu is according to its quality, hence I do not consider it expensive for the quality.
Excellent and perfect.

Even though food is relatively good and well presented, the overall evening was rather unpleasant:
- Car parking, only two spots reserved for the restaurant
- Welcomed by a VERY unfriendly young woman.
She kept Reading her newspapers while guests have dinner!
- Atmosphere is stiff, uptight, cold
- Portion sizes. just too small and we are not big eaters
- Overpriced for their Michelin stars... I wish them luck to keep those stars
In short, we have been there, tried it, but never again!
There are much better places around, delivering real value for your money...

Are you looking for culinary delicacies from Italy? "Gluschtet" there for a pizza? Or you just want to spend a few moments and have a drink? Look no further - you come and visit us. Idyllic location on the main road 42 in the Old Town of Brugg is our small restaurant. With Mediterranean flair, guests are spoiled - in the cold season - in our heated by the fireplace parlor. In summer, however, our cozy Terrace is the perfect place for a cool drink overlooking the streets of Brugg.
The food is OK but nothing really great. Nothing really special either. Only the price is specially high :-( The Terrace is nice but the service is not that friendly and quite slow.

The cuisine is nice and I specially recommend the Fagottini alle pere e gorgonzola which is the reason we visit the place regularly. The atmosphere can vary a bit. Some days the average age is quite high and the atmosphere is very quite and cold and some other days it feel more Italian. The service is not without some mistake but they are corrected quickly in a good mood preventing any real impact on the dinner. The price is a bit high for the quality but it is definitively worth a visit. Don't forgot to try the wines which are typical for Italy and well chosen.

Restaurant with long tradition in a historical building from 1604.We serve warm and cold dishes all day.
This traditional and charming little restaurant nestles in the countryside northwest of Baden and occupies an old house dating from the 17th century. Zum Blauen Engel specialises in hearty, traditional Swiss cuisine according to seasonal produce, which is prepared with passion and love. The atmosphere is cosy and laid back, the service is very attentive and not avaricious like you may find it in Zurich. A hidden gem, highly recommendable!

This is far not the only Italian restaurant of Brugg. So eating a pizza is an easy thing. The commercio have a few thing other don't really have:
* Meat grilled on stone
* Friendly atmosphere with a clear Italian touch
* Multilanguage staff
* Familly more than friendly
I have been there for birthday, familly dinner, couple dinner and was allways happy.
