Angelina's is a fine dining restaurant situated near the crescent-shaped shores of Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica. Since 2008, we have been serving locals and visitors of the Playa Flamingo area. We pride ourselves on our attentive service, our globally inspired locally sourced cuisine, and our unique open-air dining room that inspires us every day. Our food is authentic, fresh, and inspired by the bounty of the northwest coastal Guanacaste region. Named after our beloved grandmother, Angelina's represents her Italian roots and heartfelt dedication to her family. We welcome you into ours!
This is a very nice, upscale restaurant and the wonderful staff make it even more special as they have a focus on customer appreciation that is second to none! I had the Flamingo arugula salad & grilled shrimp which was delicious and my husband had the catch of the day which was Mahi-Mahi & crisp romaine salad which he thought was very tasty! Along with drinks and the relaxed atmosphere we had a lovely time at Angelina's and will be back next time we are in here!

Informal dining in a beautiful relaxed environment. Serving super fresh seafood, steaks and vegetarian options. Live dinner music through high season Tuesdays and Saturdays. Breakfast and dinner specials daily (best value in town!) and Happy Hour with signature cocktails and local beers 2x1 Chef Hilda Rodriguez creates signature dishes including cocounut Mahi-Mahi, lobster with mango chili salsa, fresh seared sesame-crust tuna, Thai style coconut curries, and our famous Surf 'n' Surf. We highly recommend Reservations in high season.
Great atmosphere and better food! A troubadour, Darin Talbot, was playing during dinner. Very mellow, easy listening that added to the experience. Often, dinner music is too loud and makes conversation difficult...not so with Darin. Really created a pleasant experience. Waitstaff was very friendly and the food was to die for. Similar to Anders in quality of food but much less expensive. Will go back again!

The Cameron Dorado (aka the Goilden Shrimp) is a rustic seafood restaurant right on the beach at Playa Conchal. It is nothing fancy, just plastic tables and chairs sitting right in the san, but the fish is very fresh and very, very good. If you are staying at the Westin all-inclusive it is about an 18 minute walk north along the beach or you can get a shuttle both ways for free. Recommended are the ceviches and, in particular, the whole Red Snapper, which comes with shrimp, mussels and vegetables and easily feeds two. We "discovered" this place four years ago and loved it. We saw some comments here suggesting that it had gone downhill but we would have to disagree. The bad reviews were from 2016 and 2017, so maybe any slippage was corrected. The other complaints we saw were about high prices, but I didn't find them to be outrageos, a bit touristy perhaps. Servive was swift and friendly. They accept Colones, US dollars and plastic.

Punto Tranquillo (PT) started by a pillar of the community, Michael, has changed hands a few times but from its humble beginnings as a Soda (Costa Rican traditional fast food restaurant) it has become the place to go when you are craving the local food...MoreThank you so much for your message. I hope see you very soon

Restaurant Estero Azul is located near Flamingo on your way to Potrero. Before you turn right at the beach at Restaurant Plemar keep on going straight all way to the back of the road (about 100m). You'll find a fisherman's house with a small eating place next to the beach. Here they'll serve you the catch of the day without paying Flamingo prices. This google search (El Estero Azul Playa Flamingo) has little information but at least lets you know it's legit. GREAT PLACE!
Estero Azul is an amazing place for a simple but delicious breakfast on the beach or for fresh shrimp and avacado salad with a cold beverage at lunch Staff is friendly and accommodating and the setting is perfecto!

Welcome to Don Brasilitos, one the most relaxed and friendly bars you'll come across. Situated right in beautiful Playa Brasilito, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, enjoy your time drinking the cheapest beers and booze around. The food is good, fast, and easy on the wallet as well. We've got everything from traditional Costa Rican cuisine and delicious seafood, to pizza, pasta, and typical American and Mexican dishes. A true blend of everyone including ex-pats, locals, and tourists, all come to Don Brasilitos to enjoy the pure life. We’re open 11am-1am, 7 days a week, all year long, so stop by and pay us a visit!
This was one of my favorite dining experiences in Costa Rica. When we arrived at Fon Brasilitos we were greeted at our car and our doors were opened for us. We were escorted to our tables which were seaside. We were able to kick off our shoes and literally dig our toes in the sand while we enjoyed food and drinks with our friends.
Before enjoying the best coconut shrimp I've had in my life, we were treated to a hand washing ritual of washing hands in bowls of bougainvillea flowers. We truly were spoiled that afternoon and did not want to leave. We had a great view of the ocean.
The shrimp we ordered were huge! I can explain just how huge they were! It must have been the equivalent of a pound and a half of shrimp on my plate. It was insane. I had to get up and waddle away from the table when we were done.
I definitely would eat here again. It's a foodies paradise. They do everything they can to make you happy.

The place is simple: plastic chairs, plastic plates, cheap cutlery. The fish was very fresh and tasty, the calamari were however so tough we could not eat them. Good taco chips, bad French fries, rice and raw vegetables (a bit boring).
Nice freshly squeezed juices.
Friendly service.

Excellent food, huge portions, very reasonably priced
We weren't even sure it was open since we couldn't see any people from the road. Glad we ventured in! The pizzas - ham and mushroom, and 4 seasons - had really good thin crust and were tasty. Honestly some of the best thin crust I've had anywhere. Quick service and tiki bar atmosphere.

We have been to Marie's many times and tried many things on the menu and are always happy with the food and the service! It is easy walking distance from most places in Flamingo and has parking out front. The one meal we have never ate here is breakfast and next time we will have to do that as have not been disappointed with any of the other meals we have had!
