This is where the slow food was created- it seems they have forgotten this...
Located in the old town, lovely courtyard Seating, really charming.
The staff was not friendly and they were very slow (slow service instead of slow food...)
Food was disappointing. The starter (gnocchi with tomato and zucchini and noodles with sausage sauce) was good. But the main dish was really a big let down. The Tagliata, a peace of beef cut in slices, was extremely tough and also the taste was not good, one of the worst beef I had in long time. The salad as side was also not good, they serve you horrible vinegar and oil with it, really very bad quality of products. And the dessert (combination of panna cotta, peach with chocolate and a tart with nuts) was just average. Overall, clearly one of the worst lunches I had in Piedmont.
Very extensive wine list with good choice.
Definitely a bad experience and unwilling not return.

I enjoyed a hearty meal here for a very reasonable price. Whilst the dishes I had weren't the most amazing examples of their kind, for the price I was extremely satisfied. It felt more home-cooked than high-production value and since that's the sort of restaurant that it is, I can't complain Very cosy place with friendly staff. I also had a good Dogliani there. Overall would recommend.

This was a very nice surprise on a sunny saturday when I was invited for an outdoor lunch. There were 10 of us and we all had one appetizer and one main course. I have the chicken salad and the tripe. I tried most other dishes and all were excellent. Like in most Piemonte restaurants, red wines are to die for and the Dolcetto we had was not short of excellence.
I did not pick up the tab so I cannot comment on the price quality ratio.

The restaurant is set in a beautiful grassy courtyard off the street. We went there for lunch with our 10 month old son. The food was great, octopus salad and two pasta dishes shared between the three of us. The owner talked to us about the region and was very friendly and baby friendly. A great family lunch in a picturesque setting. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Located next to the train station, we went there for lunch. We just went with the recommendations. Great meat and great service. Very friendly people. Well worth a visit.

Definitely my favorite place in Bra, best rum selection, great staff, good food! just in general an amazing place to hangout and have a good time! No matter you want a relax night during the week or a party night in the weekend! They definitely make you feel like home there, and I definitely treated the place like my second home. This is the place I miss the most after moving away, and will also be the first place I visit the next time I go back to Bra! STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!!

Love the ambience and has a nice outdoor patio to sit and get a drink or bite to eat. We had spanish dishes on their wednesday night special. I was very impressed with the appetizer platter but less with the fish paella. Good portions in any case. The wine list was small and the prices seemed a little high for us but maybe it was just because of the special theme night.
Overall we were happy with this different option in Bra and in such a cute place. Will be interested to try from their usual menu!

After a long journey, arrived at 10pm. Received a warm welcome. The waitress spoke excellent English. The food was excellent. Could not ask for more. Molto buona.

Stop at Caffetteria Chiavassa for a pre-dinner apertivo or afternoon beverage. The people watching is great and the staff are super friendly. With your glass of wine/beer, you get complimentary pizza and other tapas-like nibbles which could potentially either ruin your dinner or serve as a great snack! Despite speaking very little Italian, they were pleased to give us free WiFi and plenty of fresh pizza right out of the oven.

This was a coffee shop that my wife and I often frequented when we lived a year in Bra. The staff is more "professional" than friendly but the espresso is excellent and the snacks that accompany drinks during aperativo are good. The "tapas" often include Salsiccia di Bra which is regional specialty of Bra and is a raw veal sausage and is delicious! It is a comfortable place to meet friends and relax. In season they also have good gelato.
