Le Kliff is the best restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, located just 25 minutes away from Puerto Vallarta's downtown, Le Kliff offers exquisite international fine dining cuisine. Nestled on the southern edge of Banderas bay, the second largest bay in the world, Le Kliff features the best panoramic views of the Pacific coast.
Unforgettable experience from the moment we were seated..ordered a bottle of wine just took in the scenery breathtaking sunset ambience and service
The food was just spectacular my appetizer of many varieties of seafood from cerviche to scallops and calamari presented and tasted incredible
Main dish was grouper in a lemon cream sauce to perfection
It is a must

I make this one of the must see stops when friends visit. Giant rocks with the river running down with zip line people going over head. Restaurant is traditionally Mexican and is pretty good. Usually has s guy playing music and always cold beers.

Immediately welcomed last night. We ordered lobster buttered shrimp and the waiter told us the fish could be grilled instead of breaded. It reminded me of barramundi but I forgot to ask. It was ridiculously delicious. One whole spiny lobster I never counted the shrimp but there were plenty. My dad could not finish. The rice and the vegetables were really good as well. The bill at the end. 10.09 us per dinner. Complementary home made salsa and chips. Just awesome. I will eat here again and leave some photos next time.

Tony runs this amazing restaurant with his son and grandson and it is a 'hideaway', so you may need directions. (message me)
It's unbelievable here; clean, comfortable, unique, a concrete building with palapas roof, bamboo railings, sand-covered floor, handmade bar, and a view of the tropical rainforest to die for.
I won't give the secret away, unless you look at my pics, but wait until you ask for the menu because I promise you've never experienced anything like this on earth.
The food is 5 star and the service is way beyond.
Tony loves visiting the tables and loves the extras, so be prepared for an after dinner drink on the house.
We loved it so much we went back our second night in Mismaloya and I would totally recommend Tony's 100%.
Gracias Tony!
Paul

Why? The chef and his crew will use only the freshest options available for the day to prepare a lovely meal. We had a three course chef inspired dinner, and the kitchen staff was able to meet the gluten-free as well as a no fish request for our group of six. You feel a if you are in the chef's home and he has welcomed you to relax and enjoy while he does the hard work. Grilled endive, baby scallops in mango sauce, Stuffed pepper with mole and pomegranate, Bar-b-que lamb, coconut sorbet, molten chocolate cake, and the list goes on! Nice wine options as well. Get good directions as it is in a non-descript building.

WE WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER
Healthy, vegetarian and vegan friendly, smoothies, wraps, salads, sandwiches, breakfast all day, lunch after 11:30a.
Went to Puerto Vallarta from Nuevo Vallarta by bus. Really easy. Took trip advisor recommendations and found Salud. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh and healthy, and tasted great. I had the grilled chicken Sandwich with avocado and carmelized onion, and it was excellent. Wife had blt wrap with chicken and it was so much and so fresh. No credit cards and no alcohol, but well worth it.

Located in a pristine, white sandy beach cove, Ocean Grill is a great option for those who want to spend the whole day away from the crowds. Ocean Grill is not just a great restaurant, it is a destination on its own.
In order to serve you as you deserve, please reserve your spot in advance.
For Reservations and important information please visit our website.
Having lunch at Ocean Grill is a complete different experience in Puerto Vallarta, starting with the arrival process which can only be made by boat, you can do it in your own boat or the restaurant has a service from Playa Tomates. You must make reservation as they only have 3 schedules and it is usually full. The menu is short and fresh, food is really good and the cocktails too. The view and the whole nature environment is beautiful, you can feel like taking lunch in your own island and when finish eating, there is small private beach where you can enjoy swimming. It is really a very private place with no crowds and personal service as there are only 5 or 6 tables. I totally recommend it!
An important note is that they only accept cash.

We happened by the bridge over the river which leads to Juan's Place and decided to check it out. What a find!!
The day we were there a fresh caught octopus was on the menu. The garlic octopus was fantastic.
The location on the river is very nice. With the surrounding vegetation it seems like you are dining in a secluded jungle river setting.
We will certainly stop by Juan's next time we visit Mismaloya, which should be sometime in the next few weeks when we make our annual late winter visit to PV.

Come experience the most beautiful area that Vallarta has to offer. Relax in one of our lounge chairs in front of the beach or river and let us take care of the rest! If you are looking to experience real Mexico in a beautiful, safe and relaxed environment, we are one place that you won't want to miss. We offer the best local, made-to-order, fresh seafood and traditional Mexican cuisine. Make sure to try one of our signature Margaritas and fresh homemade guacamole and Mexican salsa!
We three British middle-aged guys were on our fourth trip to PV and had visited Coba bay twice before, both times lunching at this restaurant being served by a friendly Canadian expat woman.
This time we had booked an overnight stay (Monday 19/3) at Villas Rodelinda (not on TA but booked via B.c) on the other side of the river so we were planning to have an evening meal before sunset on the beach itself.
We arrived at 17:30 hoping to find tables on the beach as usual. In front of the busy covered beach restaurant on the sand there were some tables actually on the beach with a jolly Mexican waitress serving intrepid diners. We took a vacant table and asked for the menu. The food menus arrived (in English and Spanish) but no drinks menu so I asked again and one was provided. I asked if the Canadian woman was around and the woman said she would be around tomorrow.
We ordered drinks, at around 17:45, which were Negra Modelo (30), margarita (80) and a lime michelada (35). These came in good time by 17:50 with the michelada and margarita coming in big round glasses, my michelada was already a third full with crushed ice and lime. A small bowl of cut up limes accompanied the drinks. My michelada was very tasty and the margarita was strong but with lots of ice to make it last the meal.
We ordered the food, baked fish (165) in foil for me, fish in garlic (150) for my friend and shrimp burrita (180) for our friend.
They took a bit of time to arrive which was fine as we were not in a hurry and they were obviously being cooked fresh. The garlic fish and burritos arrived first at 18:05. They were tasty with big prawns and a whole well fried maki-maki fish. My baked fish came shortly afterwards at 18:11 and was a meaty fillet of maki-maki with vegetables and cheese all very tasty. A bowl of tasty spicy sauce was added too.
We were offered tortillas and accepted, a basket of a dozen of them arrived quite quickly and were well appreciated with the sauce smeared over them or plain.
As we ate the tide was coming in slowly so we got our feet wet a few times as waves crashed against the beach pier and rushed up the beach. Other people were enjoying the experience but most left as it got more frequent and the waitress panicked that w would get too wet (or the meals would tip in). We stayed the course as we had done years before. When eating fish, their habitat ought to be experienced, although this time we did not actually swim just before or after dining even though the water was quite warm. Kids were frolicking in the surf nearby as their parents dined.
Towards the end of the meal the ferry boats from the Beaches further south arrived and disgorged the tourists onto the jetties or beach direct.
The bill was requested and came to a respectable 630 adding a 60 service charge (not specified on menu) so making it 690. We left the waitress with 700 as we were very happy. The sun set over the hills and we explored the beach, including looking for the erratic free wifi available to catch up and sync devices.
I have included up to date menu pics as last ones on TA are from May 2015!

We visited Chef Fernando on our last trip to Boca de Tomatlan and had to return! His restaurant is in an outdoor setting, literally in the jungle (just off the highway) on Mexico's ubiquitous white plastic chairs, alongside his open kitchen. Fernando and his family are very nice, his various fish and shrimp dishes have all been excellent as are his margaritas. Quite an experience and excellent value!
