No occasion is too big or too small for Den gode nabo! We will put together a menu that’s just right for you, whether you’d like it catered or in the restaurant. We have a large variety of meat, chicken, and fish along with smaller dishes and vegetarian dishes. In addition we carry a full catering menu for events such as confirmations and birthdays—hot main dishes, cold buffet, or sandwiches. Wine Evening is every Monday in the restaurant and Quiz Evening is every Friday except during the summer vacation time.
We have been eating today at this restaurant ( not the first time , but absolutelly the last time, after giving them one try after another), We ordered "chicken on top of salad" and a "Pasta salad with pesto" , price was excessive for the quality of the food: A really small piece of dry chicken ,on top of a huge ammount of salad-just salad- (decorated with some strawberries and a few melon pieces...and a piece of bread whicj you can buy frozen in the store) , poor taste , something you could have just done way better at your own place for 1/3 of the price. About the salad , overcooked pasta marinated with supermarket pesto....and once again the same piece of frozen bread.
Does this really cost 330,- NOK ( about 35 euro ) ???
Never been asked by the waiters for the quality of the food...so for us this is a NOT AGAIN.
( by the way a really small ammount of vegeterian alternatives - actually just 2- )
Positive: Good Terrace where to seat and enjoy a beer or a drink.

Open from 12:00 to 24:00, offering an all-day pizza buffet with salad for just 84kr! We serve: pizza, steak, mexican food, biff, pizza dishes, and we have full beverage rights. Guests can sit outdoors.
Dropped by on our way through Bø, and we chose inside Seating due to the road next to the restaurant. The place is quite rustic but not without charm. The ladies' room was clean but small and not very inviting.
I had the scampi salad, which was very good and a decent sized portion. My friend had the pulled pork burger and was also satisfied with the portion size (in her case too big).
The service was a bit slow - seemed to be only one server/hostess on duty for lunch/early dinner service. The menu had few choices and the salad was a bit pricey for lunch.

We are on the second floor of the Bosenteret and have become a well-known meeting place through the years among many people in the town and area, whether to have a bite to eat or to chat with friends. We underwent a thorough renovation in 2009 to bring ourselves up to the modern standard of light, lively, and fun pubs that customers appreciate. We’ve also enlarged our capacity and can now seat 140 guests. Our menu has everything from sandwiches, baguettes, homemade cakes, and snacks to a wide variety of main dishes.
This mall cafeteria (in Bø-senteret) serves good, often traditional Norwegian food, in generous portions.
Cafe Olsen serves sandwiches, salads, simple warm dishes, snacks, and coffee drinks.

This roadside cafeteria serves good, often traditional Norwegian food, in generous portions. All the food have been made at the spot, and the prices are moderate - i.e. for Norway.
From the cafeterie, there is a nice view over the beautiful Lake Norsjø, and the fruit orchards in the area - Sauherad municipality is the scond largest fruit-producing area in Norway. Also, the canal boat M/S Telemarken can be seen from here, on its way to and from The Bandak-Norsjø Canal (upper part of The Telemark Canal).

As the cafe-life in Bø is rather boring, Mariposa lighten up my days.
Been in this "city" a few months now, steady customer at this cafe', due to environment, to the location, but also because of the good food and service.
Every second saturday, you can buy stone-owen baked bread, local food. Nammy nammy!
Always there is things to buy, handcraft made by locals, blankets, pictures and other stuff too.
Location is downtown centre, close to everything!
Free WiFi
I'll be back, everytime i'm in Bø, this place has a place in my heart.
Opening hours 11.00-16.30, closed mondays and sundays.

Visited here yesterday. As a vegetarian I always have challenges. The last time I was in Bø ate in a chinese restaurant which was not too good. Saw this place during the current visit and what a lovely dinner we had. The vegetarian food was good. My wife ordered a non-vegetarian wok which was also great. The young men were excellent. Hope this restaurant has a long stay in Bø.

Vi besøkte Husly for en kopp kaffe og noe søtt til. Vi hadde ostekake og gulrotkake, som begge var veldig gode! Kjempefin interiøravdeling "foran" kafeen, med mange fine ting. Et must å stikke innom her dersom du er i Bø.
