Great place for everybody to relax and play. In summertime this lake is very popular for hiking, swimming, play volleyball, work out, have a picnic or just soak up the sun.
The walking-path around the lake is about 2.4 km, there is two volleyball courts and various gym-racks for body weight exercises.
Also has public toilets, special sandpits for your own barbecue and a handicap ramp for easy access to the lake.
Also has a large parking lot, but overnight parking is not allowed.
On a hot summer weekend it is recommended to arrive walking or by bike or early as it can be difficult to find a vacant parking space.

I have been here two or three times, but I have only enjoy the music from the open door beside the street too. I have always hear good live music from this place. Sometimes it is difficult to find a place to sit, but in the summertime you can sit outside too. I think you can buy bear here and mineral water, but I have not buy this yet on this place because I was too busy to lissen.

Jessheim Storsenter

The center lies in the middle of Jessheim city center, 40 kilometers north of Oslo, 10 minutes from Oslo Airport and 3 minutes from the highway E6. With a population of 36 000, Ullensaker is the fastest growing municipality of Norway. Jessheim is, with 17 300 inhabitants, the biggest city of Akershus (as of September 2013) and the regional center of Øvre Romerike. Jessheim Storsenter has 151 shops and eateries, and the selection within fashion and sports is especially varied. Situated in the centre of Jessheim, the center has established many different eateries, several of which have their own outdoors serving which means that their opening hours might stretch beyond those of the center. This is part of the creation of a vibrant city.

Rakni's Mound

I enjoy taking children of all ages to Raknehaugen. This gives me a chance to tell them a little about prehistoric burial practices, how mounds were constructed and who were buried there. There are several smaller burial mounds around Jessheim though this is the largest one. The walk from the parking lot is short and it takes you through a beautiful old farm. When we visited the sides along the road were covered with beautiful wild flowers and some wild strawberries. Several plaques along the road inform you of the history and the time period. I highly recommend a visit.

Ullensaker kulturhus

Reviewed By Heidi A - Jessheim, Norway

Saturday I visit Ullensaker kulturhus with my 2 1/2 year old grandchild and his uncle, my son.
We enjoy the library with books and toys for children while my son read the papers. The library has everything you need for children, for young and older people with books for every taste, papers, videoes and computers. Then we visit the café in this place with a good lunch. Last winter I visit Ullensaker kulturhus and enjoy some entertainment a couple of times, one time with a good entertainer with tribute to Cornelis Vreeswijk, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley and another time I enjoy a really good group with tribute to the Beatles. Nice local with all facilities.
contains everything you need of culture.
