Best deal for lunch we've found in the Provence region of France. Choice of three appetizers then three main course choices and then dessert choices too. This place even included a 1/2 carafe of rosé. They also included expresso which we declined as we were completely full! All this for 13euros. It was good too!

Went here for dinner with friends while staying in Beaucaire. Cecile cooks whatever she can find fresh in the market, it is posted on the blackboard. We had stuffed squash, salad, and it was excellent. The restaurant is daily small (maybe 10 tables inside, and 10-15 tables in the square, so we felt fortunate to get a reservation the day we arrived. Highly recommend!!

Try the brandade de morue if it's available. Other local dishes are all well prepared, though the "faux filet" was a bit disappointing. Hard to find location, as signage is minimal. Map/gps essential.

Together with my wife and son we had lunch here in the shadow of beautiful trees. We ordered a salad and entrecôtes. Both prepared with love and attention. The frites are not standard prepared but instead freshly chopped and fried potatoechips. So I strongly advise to have at least a lunch at le Gambetta K-fe!

We were travelling in the area with friends and needed to find a place for dinner. Happened upon this place. Generous food portions, local cuisine and friendly staff even for our mainly English only group. Frequented by local people.
Good food and good value, definitely worth considering.

Excellent antipasti followed by equally excellent pasta dishes. Big portions, so no room for desserts - maybe next time. They were quick to accommodate a vegetarian. Highly recommended.

Great view of the Tarascon castle (across the street) but don't try to order more than one pizza per table (there were 5 at our table). That was my experience anyway. In fact, the big boss at the head table had to ok our being seated at all. Much of old town Tarascon is Muslim which I didn't have a problem with as much as they had a problem with Americans.

Enjoyed a good pizza for lunch at this busy restaurant. Service was reasonable as were the prices. Busy inside but able to get a table out on the street. A good option at lunchtime when many local places seem closed.

A lovely little restaurant looking at the river in a pretty little town. The decor inside is very chic, with a small outside area. We arrived a little too early, they open at 19.30, though we're able to have an aperitif. They have an ala carte or set menus all of which are reasonably priced, with a good wine list as well. The food is well prepared and presented.
Two of our guests had a nicoise salad and felt that there was too much vinaigrette and salt on this. The main was reasonable though could have had more in the way of vegetables. Three of us had Magret du Canard, which was cooked beautifully.
The staff were friendly and accommodating when we were struggling with French.
