There’s a touch of quality about everything at Centanove and it’s probably a cut above most other restaurants around Kew, particularly if you’re looking for something a little more elegant for that special night out. Service is first class, the wine list is varied and the food, including the yummy bread, absolutely fresh.

Freshness, brightness, vigour – this is what has been injected into Burke Road’s well known Italy 1 Camberwell - with a little bit of the old. Now owned by two very energetic and enthusiastic owners, one being the previous head chef, Italy 1 Camberwell has been reborn into a modern Italian café with the freshest seasonal produce. Offering simple, well executed food with strong flavours and distinct personality in an uncomplicated and relaxed atmosphere. Let our friendly, attentive staff tend to your needs while the kitchen whisks your tastebuds on a flavoursome journey of Italian inspired creations.
The menu selections are excellent, particularly their risottos, whether it be mushroom or the seafood variety using flu swimmer crab. Cannot you praise the calamari to highly, it is a beautiful concoction. I have always enjoyed the freshness of the food in this restaurant it is delightful succulent and always quality. My wife particularly enjoyed the Kris Pinot Grigio - clean and crisp, great for a hot day. Waiter service is excellent very attentive, supportive and personable. We particularly congratulate Keaton for his service he did a great job today we dined. All in all, we both praise this restaurant it is a great place to go and enjoy a first-class meal. Thoroughly recommended to anyone, as described above and you will enjoy the experience. It is somewhat expensive, but it is fine dining after all, and it is worth paying that little extra for great quality and great surroundings.

If you like good Malaysian food you must visit Jazz Ria. The menu offers all the classics and the serving sizes are generous. Friendly staff, small restaurant (booking is a must to ensure a table), public transport on the doorstep, on street parking, BYO Licence, reasonable prices.

Housed in the heritage listed Canterbury Post Office, The Maling Room offers breakfast, lunch and award winning coffee.
Our daughter and her family were in Melbourne so she suggested we go there for a late breakfast, All six of us were very happy with the service and the food. I had a BLT on Turkish bread which was excellent. My wife had fruit bread - it was thick with a generous amount of fruit. We didn't make a booking but were lucky they could accommodate us. They told us that the table we were on was booked at 11 am so as that was an hour away we decided to stay. Service was prompt and the timing was fine. We are within easy walking distance and we will use it more often. Maling road has a number of competing restaurants which has improved quality.

Very good, well established Italian restaurant opposite the Rivoli cinema. Wonderful art deco décor. Somewhat limited menu (a good thing) plus specials. Well-priced, very good home cooking along with straightforward service. The special of the day, pan-fried snapper, was delicious. Recommended for very good food and service.

Di Palma's Restaurant & Bar has been making #woodfiredpizza since 1988, so you could call us the original wood fired pizza restaurant.
We visited on a Saturday night and were greeted promptly and warmly. Linen tablecloths and napkins, drink orders taken quickly. Our waitress, Genevieve, guided us through the menu with helpful suggestions. The cauliflower croquettes were creamy with light, crunchy crumbs and the special pea soup was also tasty. Barramundi with black rice for main and risotto with Balmain bug were delicious. The meals were well presented and hot. Unfortunately we had another engagement so couldn't taste the desserts; next time!

Ashiana' has been a family favorite for many years and we travel more than 20kms to get there and we are never disappointed. The food is fantastic, authentic Indian, the service is always excellent and the staff are friendly and welcoming and what we really like is that it is BYO and the prices of the meals are very reasonable. You can bring a birthday cake without being charged ' cakeage!' And it is real value for money! Love it!

QPO is located at 186 High St, Kew. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast lunch & dinner. Two private function rooms are available for hire.
The QPO was an decent and average restaurant. Be vigilant and aware to choose carefully on the menu making sure you pick the right meal that you know you will enjoy.
I ordered the crab burger which was very poor. It was fully battered in oil with the crab shell. The coleslaw in the burger was basic and bland. The wedges were cooked perfectly. Another meal we ordered was the Beef Burger, which was very delicious however the side chips we undercooked.
Overall the OPO offers a reasonable dining experience with a great atmosphere and very good service.

We are so lucky to have this place in Hawthorn. We regularly enjoy the Friday Night Flights where there is a different international menu every fortnight. The food is always delicious, the service is exceptional, and the five course meal is very reasonably priced. We...MoreThank you very much Danielle!
