Has to be one of the finest restaurants in Mauritius...my partner and I enjoyed a thoroughly memorable culinary dinner experience whilst staying for a week at the nearby Westin Turtle Bay resort. Service outstanding, food spectacular, we pushed the boat out and ordered the Black Angus Chateaubriand to share which was prepared and served at the table and I can honestly say it was some of the finest beef we have ever tasted, cooked to perfection along with various accompaniments equally as delicious! An additional bonus is you can take your own wine / champagne for a relatively small corkage fee. Thoroughly recommend a visit, pricing very similar to high end fine dining in the UK, with the bonus of a uniquely beautiful location and colonial style setting. Top marks all round!

This casual ‘feet in the sand’ restaurant near the beach offers barbecue evenings in a simple and rustic set-up surrounded by filaos trees.
We came here for evening meal whilst staying at the Maritim. The restaurant is part of the resort and as far as I’m aware not open to non-residents. You have to book your table at the hotel reception - you cannot just turn up. The menu is easy to understand. If there is a dash (-) next to the item then it is included in all inclusive. If there is a price, then you have no pay - not difficult. There is no dress code here, you can wear what you want, including shorts and flip flops. The way it works is you order a main, side and sauce from the waiter and then you can help yourself to starters and desserts from the self service area. We came here twice during our stay. The first visit was fantastic. I ordered the tuna and my husband had the steak. Even though I asked for the tuna quite well done, it was still tender and juicy. The pineapple salsa it came with was lovely. I also ordered the lemon butter sauce and the corn on the cob. The corn was a bit tough and I struggled to get it off the cob but it was still nice. The people next to us were pretty much pigs are they ordered all the sides available and most of the sauces. I just assumed it was one side and one sauce per meal. On our next visit we decided to order two sides each. I had the tuna again and so did my husband. I ordered the corn again and some vegetables. When the food arrived, only one side came with each meal. We waited a bit but then realised it wasn’t coming. We enquired with a waiter but he didn’t know so we had to wait for another. By the time the extra sides came, we had already finished our meals. Unfortunately although the tuna was very nice, it was quite dry this time. I wouldn’t have said it was because it was well done as my husband had it medium and he said his was quite dry. Both times we ate here it was full. Each time we visited there was a singer / singers with a guitar which created a nice atmosphere.

As breakfast buffets go it's all right. The egg station is excellent but the rest lacks choice. Coffee takes too long to get to your table but the service is friendly.
Dinner really isn't that good. Not a huge amount of choice for starters or mains and it's buffet style so don't expect piping hot fresh food, all a little lacklustre.
If you are half board go to Kagan every night!
Would I eat here again? Sadly yes for breakfast tomorrow...

The main restaurant of the resort, with choice of Seating indoor or outdoor in the garden, on the pool deck, or under the kiosk, serves refined Asian fusion cuisine, as well as local and international delights for both breakfast and dinner.

While we were staying in a resort close to Westin, we decided to visit their Indian restaurant and I must say we were wowed by the delicious and flavorful food at the restaurant.
We tried everything from drinks, to starters and mains, except desserts. And everything tasted fantastic. The good food was complimented by fabulous service and beautiful atmosphere. A must-visit Indian restaurant in Balaclava area.

set on the beach of the westin resort, this restaurant has a great vibe, good music and fabulous cocktails! the lunch menu is different from the dinner menu... the dinner offerings are only sushi and tapas! so not a good thing for veggies... i really suggest they should continue to serve pizza and some pasta at least for dinner! the southern sally cocktail of theirs has become my favorite!

Visited this restaurant twice during our stay at the Westin and had an excellent meal each time. Staff were attentive and couldn't do enough for us and food was fantastic. My husband loved the steak and I would highly recommend the fish. Thank you.

You can do nothing wrong going to this restaurant if you like Asian cuisine. They have a big assortment of the different Asian kitchens.
I enjoyed the spring rolls as a starter a lot. I like the funny and attentive waiters here. They even tried to realize my wish for a special Thai dish. Thanks for that. The restaurant has nice seats directly on the beach and it is not too pricy. Find out yourself!

we had no choice than to eat here last night and I wasn't looking forward to it, despite the old fashioned decor, the service was immpecable! why is the rest of total not like this???
the food also! we both chose vegetarian curries and were not veggies, but they were fantastic particularly the cauliflower one! the naan garlic was also to die for!
this should be the gold standard service of how the hotel should function!

You couldn’t fault our first visit, the food, service and ambience was good. On the second visit there was a very long wait for food. It didn’t seem to be busier than the first visit but I think we were in the restaurant around two hours on the second visit. The service was still good though. Between the hours of 7 and 9 (I think) in the evening there is a guy on the beach in front of the restaurant playing his guitar and singing which is nice. We also came here a few times for drinks early evening and to watch the sun set. The drinks menu seems to be same one as in the main bar. I think you can come here for breakfast if you are staying in the prestige class of room or above.
