Royal Indonesian Rijsttafels and Candlelight Dinner Cruises for food connoisseurs and business groups of up to 200 guests.
Our group found the quality and flavour of the food outstanding. The service was also excellent - attentive, polite and everything was clearly explained.
We chose their traditional ( non vegetarian ) menu option with the additional wine pairing.
They were keen to ascertain any allergies or special requirements and were happy to tailor the menu if required. This was not necessary for our group.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every course ( some were quite spicy ) but none of us found them too much. Every course was very nicely presented and explained in detail upon serving. The wines were all excellent, described well and complimented each course perfectly ( a range of reds and whites ).
It is a fairly small, unassuming little restaurant that you could easily walk past without noticing. We were a group of 5 men and were sat on a table for 4 with a chair at the end. We were prepared for it being a little cramped, but we all found no issue with space. The interior decor is fairly plain and it seemed quite an unpretentious little restaurant. Music was not too loud and there were a mixture of couples and groups, some dressed very casually and some very well dressed. We were in fact 20 minutes late for our booking ( due to flight delays out of the UK on the Friday night we visited) but I called in advance and they were extremely polite and it was no problem.
I had initially tried to book via Trip Advisor but their booking system for the Blue Pepper refused to allow a booking for 5 people for some reason!
I was worried that it would be impossible to book for our group, so instead I went direct to their website and booked through their online form with no problems. Response was very swift via email and when I asked a couple of questions these were also responded to quickly. They did ask for a deposit of 125 Euros which seemed reasonable and this was paid via their online booking system using a credit card. When the bill was presented at the end of the meal, I did ask if the deposit was already taken off and they apologised as it was not, but very quickly sorted that with no fuss.
They also offer a Canal Dinner cruise which I would definitely try if travelling as a couple.
Very highly recommended.

Brasserie la Bouche boasts over 70 spacious seats. Guests can enjoy a simply superb lunch and dinner on the private Terrace during the spring and summer months - or as soon as weather conditions permit. Chef de Cuisine Simon de Wit surprises his guests with dishes from daily fresh ingredients every single day, which he magically and playfully transforms into tasty dishes with a French accent. Beautiful wines from the international wine list and a professional service provided by the enthusiastic staff complement the gastronomical experience in a very refined manner. Plus the inn has been awarded two listings in the 2012/2013 Michelin Guide. The Brasserie is located along the edge of Amsterdam and enjoys an excellent position in relation to Schiphol Airport and Haarlem. In addition to the fantastic meals, guests also have the option of staying the night here in one of the 24 rooms. Free Airport shuttle Free Wifi! You are welcome!
Presented as a cafe-restaurant, the quality of the food exceeds the better restaurant level. Quite a variety of meals. I just had the lobster soup, nicely presented at the table.
The chicken teriyaki was presented with an almost simplicity, but with an excellent taste. The adjacent hotel offers basic rooms in size, but well decorated and good beds. All is nearby the exhibition centre RAI, Schiphol airport and the city centre of Amsterdam. A true recommendation if you need to be in the RAi, the airport and would like to combine the stay with a a more than perfect dinner!

In our Trattoria we welcome you with Italian hospitality. We import our own products from Italy like buffalo mozzarella, salami, speck, pasta's and olive oil. We are open daily for lunch and dinner and we have a lovely Terrace in the summer. Come and enjoy!
We stayed at the attached hotel for a night between connecting flights and had dinner at the Trattoria la Boccaccio. I had a four cheeses pizza and my wife had the seafood risotto. Both dishes were not exceptional but were good, although somewhat pricey. The service was a bit awkward at times and not particularly attentive. This was not a function of the restaurant being busy, but more likely due to inexperience on the part of the server. The establishment has both indoor and outdoor Seating.

We went on a Sunday morning and by 1030 it was busy, and by 1130 it was packed. Opens at 10, but Dutch pancakes (pannenkoeken) were not available until 11. You can get coffee, espresso drinks, sodas, juice, and pastry before 11. Order pancakes at the cashier after you go through the buffet to get pastry and drinks. We found the savory pancakes with cheese to be our favorite, but of course the plain with powdered sugar and the sweet/fruity ones were amazing, too. We have 3 smaller kids (9, 8, 6 years-old) and we had leftovers with 3 pancakes, so they are not small!

This is how it's done. Friendly but competent staff. Superbly interior: not too cramped, not too spacious, stunning view. The chef welcoming his guests personally. Amazing food presented even more amazingly. Superlatives don't do enough justice to the place to describe it....

Seven of us enjoyed a wide variety of delicious Japanese dishes in this restaurant! Under the ‘eat as much as you can’ concept we ordered a wide variety of sushi and other Japanese foods. Although the restaurant was fully occupied the waiters managed to serve quite quickly and efficiently, and the service was warm and friendly. We all agreed the quality was better than we had enjoyed at other Japanese restaurants. A special offer of one free menu for groups above five persons had just been extended as a surprise! Definitely worth returning to!

We came here for an early dinner right after the Molen Van Sloten tour and museum closed for the day. We were looking for Dutch cuisine and were not disappointed. The portions were generous and the service was very pleasant. Our waiter explained the various offerings since the menu was in Dutch, and our understanding is extremely limited. Our pork was juicy and tender although the gravy was a bit thick and sweet for my taste. It was fun to try the Dutch alternative of mayonnaise on fries instead of catsup, but I will continue to eat mine without either!

Our benchmark is pistach/ pistacchio. I eat that all over the globe. If I leave most gelaterie in Rome, Palau, Salerno, Napoli, Pesaro, Milano etc etc out of competition than da Vinci has made the dramatic quantum leap to the first place in Amsterdam ( sorry Pisa, you were our favorite) of the Netherlands, Munich, London, New York, Barcellona....
Soft with a bite the pistache has found its ideal blend of creamy not overly sweet and they are generous, really generous!
Hope to find you like this next season or better, if possible at all!

Our lovely waitress a world renowned ballroom dancer and teacher was amazing. So helpful and friendly. This was our last night of our holiday in Holland. Wonderful food and a very memorable experience.
