Stopped to feed some hungry teens. All the usual baked goods which comprised of an assortment of hot foods including a variety of pies, sausage rolls and pasties. Other cold choices included made up sandwiches and rolls, along with some cakes and slices. There were plenty of drink choices. It's the typical small country town bakery, the food was ok but we've had better.

Karridale Tavern is your local home away from home. A country tavern with local craft beer, quality wines and great service. Our menu is traditional pub style, with a middle Eastern twist. Open 11am-9pm daily. Lunch and dinner, afternoon bar snack menu.
The food was good, the portions HUGE (would totally prefer thicker cut chips though!!). The wait staff & girls behind the bar were amazing and super friendly/helpful.
The let down was "management"!!! My god..... yelling at and abusing staff members where the general public can here is not a good look (especially since the girls behind the bar were able to pour a beer and the manager couldn't!!).
I'd go back for the food and friendliness of the wait staff but the small man syndrome manager has a lot to learn when it comes to people skills!!!!

This is the must have coffee shop in Augusta. We waited about 10 minutes to get a table, ordered at the counter (no table service) and 20 minutes later got our coffees and muffins. Worth the wait.Hello & thanks for taking the time to review our cafe. Yes we are busy at present times with the Xmas/New Year holidays so apologies for the wait times. Glad that you enjoyed your coffee & muffins Thanks again Tracey

Our BYO Cafe situated on the banks of the beautiful Blackwood River serves full breakfast and lunches. Home of the iconic Augusta Whiting & chips, the Fish and chips kitchen offers a variety of fish exclusively caught by Augusta's local fishermen. Seafood side orders are also available. Opposite the cafe, one may also enjoy eating our yummy take away fish & chips sitting on the lawn covered banks of the river watching the dolphins at play
Dropped in for a quick coffee and cake just before 11:15am. Order service was quite good, but when our takeaway coffee was served we were told by the female attendant that she was too busy to put the lids on!! Not only is that dangerous (by having potentially hot coffee spillage) but is very poor customer service. As such, we decided we were too busy to consider having lunch there. More customer service training required if you want repeat business people!!!!!!

My wife & I have visited this Chinese restaurant several times over the last 15 years whilst on holidays in Augusta. The décor is always the same & very outdated. However, we were not disappointed during our recent holiday there, visiting the restaurant twice. During our visits we tried the Spring Rolls, Satay Combination & Sizzling Garlic Beef . All dishes were very tasty with the Satay dishes being our favourite. The service provided by "Sandra" was as always excellent. The only problem for current & potential customers is caused by the Chef's (Alan) cancer treatments which mean that the Restaurant occasionally has to unexpectedly close while he goes off for treatment.

Here for the week, and doing the typical local tours and vineyard lunches; had just finished the morning Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse tour when we were figuring out where we should get lunch. Boy were we glad we checked TripAdvisor and stumbled upon Blue Oceans Fish & Chips instead of settling for the lighthouse cafe, it was hands-down one of the best fish & chips we have had. The batter used to coat all the Seafood was light, and the cook has definitely found the perfect balance between that golden-brown crispy goodness and the fresh sweet meat under. We waited just under 10mins for our combo, with additional breaded squid, scallop, mussels and prawns. Including the ginger beer for 2 (goes perfectly with the fish & chips), the meal only cost us about AUD30. Happy the meal could satisfy the missus cravings for chips in the past week, and wished it was much closer to our stay. The staff were very friendly too, and the establishment does offer free table water. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our visit to The Ragged Robin. Coffee and Herb Scones were great, surroundings and environment interesting and different. What made our visit even more memorable was the help provided by the owner in retrieving my wife’s handbag two hours after the Cafe had closed! Many thanks again, a very relieved customer.
