I think this place is quite expensive and although the food is delicious, value is only average. The menu is pretty short, too. You can have a few types of seafood and grilled meat dishes. And we had a rather unfriendly experience. We asked a waiter if the service fee is included in the price so we can calculate the tip. He sad it is not, but later we noticed in the menu that it is.

Having arrived in Okrug the evening before, we decided to have a day on the beach the next day, after a change we headed back to the beach and had a drink watching the sun go down before wandering along the boardwalk to Leonardo's.
we hadn't booked and were squeezed into this busy restaurant. The friendly, efficient waiter soon arrived and we ordered drinks, white wine for my wife and a beer for me. We had a plate of the local cheese and olives to start, eating with the delicious bread. My wife had the calamari and I had the seafood pasta. Both were large portions the seafood had plenty of mussels, clams and calamari in it, no fish so far as I could tell, but there was a lovely thick seafood broth coating it all so I was very happy. The calamari were very small and tender and the batter was really good. They were served with a lovely aioli.
Good food, not expensive and plenty of it. Semi open air restaurant overlooking the small harbour - what's not to love!

I tried their lasagna and it's the best I ever tried in any restaurant world wide. It was so good I had to go back the next day to eat it again...

We wondered why this restaurant wasn't up the rankings? Given our recent experiences only yards away, it was puzzling indeed. 'Let's give it a go'. We were pointed on the direction of the Terrace and a great table over looking the port and bay. The sun was dropping towards another wonderful Croatian sunset. Great. The service that followed was good and prompt. The food was good. The veal medallions were cooked well and were despatched with ease. I went all 'retro' and had the Beef Stroganoff. It was good, if only a little salty. Overall, it's a good restaurant sitting in a prime location, with good food and attentive staff. Can't help but think it's missing something though..

Great service (considering the fact that there is no electricity nor tap water on that part of the island). Very "wild" nature, simply stunning! Staff is more than carying, helpful and attentive. Try to be there early to rent your beach beds & couches (quickly sold out), enjoy the good wine and the breathaking view. All this plus lunch will cost you around 30eur for two. More than a highlight! For us it was a perfect setting to have a day off from everyone & everything.

This restaurant provides good meals in reasonable prices, however the service was behind expectations. Sitting 20 minutes in large group of 9 people with absolutely no attention in front of dirty and empty plates and glasses while waiter passes you several times is absolutely unacceptable for such type of restaurant. So 4* for food and 1* for service, overall 2* - 3*.

We visited this restaurant with high expectations but unfortunately we were disappointed. The balcony was busy but we were still able to be seated, inside was empty. Our waitress bought menus but no wine list and after only a few minutes wanted our order but we were not ready. We ordered our starters and she asked if we also wanted garlic bread (we didn't see this on the menu). This arrived before our starters and although tasty and not too greasy was a bit doughy and undercooked. I had a tuna salad to start which was fine with tasty fresh salad. I had only just finished this when our mains arrived. I had ordered Veal Mali Raj which I assumed was a bit of a speciality, how wrong! Veal is a delicate meat that should be treated kindly, it was overcooked, dry and tough and completely overwhelmed by the very salty cheese and ham it was 'stuffed' with. All dishes appeared to be served with chips only, no other choice like rice or boiled potatoes. In fairness the roasted vegetables were lovely, nicely cooked and full of flavour. Our glass of 'house?' red wine was good too. Our bill arrived and we paid but were not given our change, even though this was a small amount which we would probably have left the choice was not given. Restaurant Toc is a better option, we are unlikely to revisit Mali Raj.

Last year the owner of our apartment recommended Mali Porat and we enjoyed meals there then.We returned this year and were delighted to find it was every bit as good.Extensive main course menu - we had stroganoff, veal, chicken and beef pasticada - all lovely and well cooked. The owner handled "front of house" himself even when the restaurant was busy! The view is best in Slatine - right on the beach to one side and the harbour on the other.

With the small and quiet pebbled beach underneath and the shade of pine trees, even very average food can taste delicious. After a good swim, we took one of the closest tables to the beach and ordered a pizza, which was quite far from the real thing, but acceptable for the price we paid. They also have wifi.
