Amman's layered history is reflected in its diverse people and its varied architecture. Home to numerous churches and mosques, the city is home to a multidenominational and multicultural population. Even within the midst of the ultra-modern commercial center of the city there is evidence of its ancient roots, with colorful ancient souks, Roman ruins, cultural museums and monuments painting a picture of the history of the region.

A great, mostly Levantine cuisine restaurant, in a beautiful building. The food is very good, the standards are high, but what's best about this place is the level of service. They're very kind, very fast, and take care of the guests like royalty. No wonder - at least seemingly - half of Amman's elite is here to have dinner. It's recommended to make a reservation.

It is one of the oldest and very popular sweet shop in Amman where you find the best kunafeh. Not only we loved this delicious sweet but we also packed frozen Kunafeh and air flown to my place to share with frieinds and enjoy. We also bought bakalava to share with our friends.

This restaurant does one thing and one thing only. You get falafel on kaak. It comes with tomatoes, pickles, and humus. No, you can not have the sandwhich "deconstructed". They will not serve you falafel or humus on their own. You can have a falafel Sandwich or you can go. It costs about 35 girsh and does what is does perfectly.

guests to make a homemade traditional arabic salad, mezza, main course and a dessert course arabic meal with the help of a local woman , then get to enjoy it on our balcony or indoors at our grandmothers house in one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Amman
For my last night in Jordan,a friend and I signed up for the evening cooking class. We prepared a 4 course dinner that was absolutely fantastic! Three other interesting women (from UK and Columbia) signed up also, and we had a lovely time preparing and eating dinner out on the patio. Staff was lovely, as was the environment. Highly recommended experience!

Come in and kick back until midnight to experience the pleasure of flavorful Mexican dishes that are zesty, spicy, crunchy and made for sharing; alongside crafted beverages and cocktails.
I had a starter and a main course. Both delicious! The Sopa Azteca was beautifully presented with authentic flavors. My main course arrived and there was a mistake. The very helpful, Mohamed, kindly reordered and I had my food within 10 minutes, hot and well worth the small wait. I finished the meal with some lovely conversation with two of the staff, Mohamed and Fareed, who recommended a vanilla and rose Ceylon tea. It was tasty and finished off a great meal. I will definitely return!

it serves a wide range of Arabic food pasta and pizza Casual cozy atmosphere, restaurant is attached to hotel,it serves Levant food ,few continental dishes . It also serves local beer and wine at reasonable prices.A hot cultural spot for local live music ,and traditional group dance the dabke and Dehie.cafe community a tourist and cultured locals hang out in downtown
What to mention? It was an amazing experience at Pizza Roma Cafe. I stayed in the hotel attached to the reasturant and had opportunity to have breakfast which is part of the package and food in the evenings. We spent valentine day evening at this restaruant and we couldn't have asked for better than this. Food was great freshly prepared. Live music and dancing is the attraction to the evenings. We had traditional Dabke dance and the whole group danced along with us. The restaurannt offers roof top view which oversees Roman Amphi theatre and it is an amazing view whether it is day or night. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere over there is and the gesture is priceless. Unlike other restaurant here we find most of the team speak English and they are very courteous. Thanks to Raymond, the owner of the reasturant who suggested me try this place and it is worth more than what we were looking for. I am going to write review for the hotel separately.

Steakhouses in Amman don't come any better than this classy venue, famous for its gleaming mahogany bar and superb service. Decorated with striking modern art and rocking gently to live music noon till midnight, this is the perfect spot for a successful business lunch or a special supper with friends. Sink into a plush armchair and tell your server how you'd like your tender Aberdeen Angus steak. Or perhaps you'd prefer a plate of sticky spare ribs or a simple but delicious club Sandwich?
I visited on a business trip and greatly enjoyed a couple drinks with my colleagues after work. The atmosphere was very comfortable and my colleagues and I were able to chat and enjoy our drinks thoroughly. Our bartender Shaheen was excellent, attentive without being intrusive, and quick with our drinks exactly as ordered.

Had lunch there the other day. Fortunately we were three people, so we could order a number of different dishes. Starters are as good as they can possibly get; after that we had two different kebab, one simple old-fashioned one and one where vegetables etc is already mixed into the meat. Both excellent, if you must decide between the two, take the simple one. It's spiced to perfection.
If you stay in the area, this is a MUST!
