La Battigia restaurant, is the flagship of the Hotel. The restaurant has two rooms with stunning views of Castellammare del Golfo. House specialties are typical Sicilian dishes. Privilege only for hotel guests and for a few selected customers to taste the delicious Sicily Cuisine made from fresh fish from Castellammare del Golfo, tomato and other very tasty Sicilian vegetables. The famous and delicious desserts (cannoli, cassata, marzipan fruits, etc.) And prestigious white and red wines complete the menu cart.
We had lunch there. the restaurant has a very beautiful view on the see, as far as it's located on the beach. The food was tasty, but the portions was so small a specialy after our previous experience in the other restaurants. And the price we considered to be to high. the service was good.

Great mussel and clam zuppe, a highlight from our holiday. Also my husband got the wrong pizza which they replaced quickly and with no fuss. They may have just misheard our dodgy Italian, but they were very nice about it. Recommended. Good food, unfussy, honest looking place, friendly staff.

They have the yummiest pistachio gelato! Plus my favorite sette veli which is a chocolate lovers dream.... Yup that's me! It's 7 layers with dark and light chocolate, hazelnut praline and crunchy biscuits. Their pastries are delicious too. Try an Iris it's deep fried with ricotta filling and chocolate chips! Yummy!!! You can get little snacks there also that they can warm up. We go here every vacation. It's a must. If you want to enjoy your pastry or gelato you can go upstairs and sit inside or out depending on what time of year you go. Most people don't know it goes upstairs. This bar (which is what Italians call their cafe) is on the busy street of Corso 6 Aprile which is at the bottom of Alcamo's piazza. Which has a beatiful church overlooking it.

This is one of the few "restaurants" in this old city, near Palermo. When I tell you, there are not many restaurants, not only can they be counted on one hand, but you would have three fingers left. That said, the food here is good, reasonably priced, and the place is packed. Reservations are a must (there is almost no where else to eat). And don't expect any fish on the menu - even though you can see the sea from the corner.

30 kinds of pizza dough with long fermentation (36-60 hours) with yeast and soft and hard wheat flour make high-quality fragrant pizza, tasty and easy to digest. First-quality ingredients and careful selection of raw materials give the dell'Arcova pizza a unique taste. Raw materials: yeast, fresh mozzarella France, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Levoni salami, fresh cheese D.o.p, onion, Grana Padano cheese, pistachios.
Loved the pizza! They always have such a variety of pizzas as well. The size of the slices are well portioned, so you can have 2-3 different slices if you want. Also, try the pizza with the potatoes on it! It's great!

When you're walking around Alcamo, enjoying the views, this is the best cafe/bar to stop at because of the fantastic little cakes. They also have sandwiches, deep fried rice balls with meat inside (arancini) and pizza slices. Sometimes the service for the hot food is slow because they are usually busy but just try the cakes and have a nice expresso to go with them!

Restaurant "La Funtanazza", is the first restaurant into Natural Reserve. It offers possibility to taste differents traditional Sicilian foods.
We're really upset and dissapointment driving all the way up the mountain to this restaurant and finding out that it's closed! First of all no info (and no English info) on their website about the restaurant being closed today, furthermore no road signs suggesting the directions to that place. We've been diving and driving and there was no single board with the restaurant's name... In general - Shocking!
