Rökeriet has good food for everyone. Our specialty is fish but we also have meat. In the store you can by smoked fish, eel, salmon, cheese, smoked sausages, shrimp and much more. Ask us! It´s possible to book the conference room "Näckrosen" next to Rökeriet. We have good space for wheelchair users, children and dogs are welcome!
So there are two parts. Firstly the shop which sells lovely smoked fish. Highly recommended. Then the restaurant which is a lovely location, serves food mainly in sittings (6pm and 8pm I believe), with good food but average service. We came early one day and...MoreHi, It seems as if you have been writing this review to the wrong company. We are situated 4 km from the harbor in Åhus, and we do not have seatings at certain times. Perhaps you meant to write to Äspets Rökeriet? Best regards, Robin

Floating restaurant in Åhus harbour, next to the Absolut Vodka Company. The restaurant floats on the river and has amazing views. It´s very popular in the summer and is open from eastern till september. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, here is a wide range of dishes. It´s mainly Swedish dishes and a lot of fish and shellfish, but alson vegan food and meat. Most of the food, sauces and everything served is made from scratch in the kitchen. The flavours and freshness is important. Pråmen also has a big ice cream bar with over 35 different flavours. The soft ice is homemade with the best and freshest ingredients, for a spectacular flavour. On Fridays and Saturdays it´s livemusic on Pråmen. It´s always a lot of people, from the youngest to the oldest, that comes together in a happy way.
It means "The barge" and it is on a barge.
I took two sandwiches - a Shrimp and a Smoked Eel and a Swedish Aquavit to chase them down with. The shrimps had been frozen and did not taste much. The smoked eel consisted of two small fillets of eel that did not at all cover the normal slice of dark bread. Both very disappointing.
It was expensive for what it was. There is an Ice cream stand next door that serves large portions of very nice ice creams from a large selection.

I went to Spice with my son for dinner one night. We both chose burgers.
Our orders came fairly quickly, and at first sight, we were impressed. The burgers were stacked high, there were plenty of fries and tasty looking coleslaw.
I have to say that I wasn't disappointed - it was a good burger and huge. The fries were so good - covered in some kind of coating that was spicy and really tasty. Delicious.
The portions were really big and we couldn't quite finish off our meals. The food was well cooked, hot and tasty. The price for a burger was around 180SEK, which for a Brit like me is expensive, but comparatively speaking, was fairly reasonable for this part of Sweden.
The staff were fairly attentive and did what they were supposed to (nothing more, nothing less), and we had no complaints about the service.
Overall, we were happy with our experience and we will definitely be back again (the pizzas looked good, too).

A restaurant renowned for their ribs, but we had the slow cooked chuck eye roll that was tender and just perfect. Excellent side dishes, pure'e of carrots and oven baked root vegetables to accompany the big piece of meat. Good wine suggestions and a good sangria. Nice to sit outside and really nice staff.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in this area. You can eat your dinner right by the beach listening to live music. Very nice starter chantarelle soup. Love the selection of plank steaks. I always come back to this place when I am in this area!

Went for dinner with my boyfriend, brother and a friend. We all had the spareribs as we were told that´s what they are famous for. We were all satisfied. For me, it was mayber a little too much spiced, unnecessarily. Overall the atmosphere is very nice as you sit by the small port of Åhus and the sunset was stunning. We drank the housewine, both red and white and it was not bad, although expensive, as all costs of drinks in Sweden, not to mention the whiskeys at the end of the meal. But when you go out dining in Sweden, you must count with that. Tried their homemade ice cream, creme brulée and chocalate cake as well, none to be disappointed. For us, it was an all in all nice and relaxing experience. Try their homemade smoked salt to season your meat:-)!!!

This place is nicely situated in the Åhus harbor. As for their summer lunch offering their a limited but well-composed menu of shellfish, fish and meat dishes. The food quality is high but average given the price level. Based on my lunch experience this was noting exceptional. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is however nice. Note that the experience may be quite different in the evening.

Between forest and water, this cozy restaurant is found right by the seaside in beautiful Åhus. Wonderful view, delicious seafood. I can especially recommend Stjerneskud, which is a traditional Danish dish with fish, caviar and shrimps on a Danish rhye bread with a caviar sauce. Also the fish and chips is really good, and comes with three sauces, the spicy aioli is my favorite. If you like the food, all food can be bought from the fish shop at the restaurant. A real gem for a seaside lunch or dinner!

This is a unique experience in an old wooden building by the sea. The owners and chefs are also serving the excellent food. We ate tapas and, by far, the Salmon tartar á la sushi was the best. The quality of the produce is excellent and the wine sold by glas complements the food very well. The atmosphere is unique with the French decor complementing the old Skåne style perfectly. I hope that the summer wine bar is going to come back next year (it is only open during summer). For those who still haven't been there, hurry up before they close!

Only bakery option that I can think of in Ahus. Used to have another which closed.
Bakery and Deserts are good. Decor could use some help but then I'm an interior designer and picky about that. That said, we walk here almost daily when we are in Ahus and I miss it when we're not there.
