Since opening in 1995 on the Greek island of Naxos, Scirocco has become somewhat of an institution in naxos not to be missed. Behind the scenes mama Katerina creates her favourite dishes, which luckily for you, she shares with more than just her family. Her sons, Nikos and Michalis, will make sure that you feel right at home, just like they do. You will want to come again, in fact, you may never want to leave.
This place was recommended to us, and was so good we went back twice. Food was excellent- delicious , well presented, using local ingredients. Service was of a very high standard. Great ambience , right on the village square. We would highly recommend!

Our first night in Naxos, staying at the Nissaki Beach Hotel, we decided to try their restaurant right on the beach. Wonderful ambiance looking out at the bay, accompanied by a relaxing, very enjoyable meal. The chicken filet was delicious and the tuna steak was a large portion. Service was friendly and attentive. The Greek wine was excellent, of course!

Wine bar, with French wines and Greek wines, organic et biodynamic culture. We are ambassadors of some wines and Champagne from France that we represent in Greece. A fusion food cooked with local produce. We offer tapas and some French traditionnal dishes as well and Caribbean Curry. All our food is homemade , cooked with fresh Naxian ingrédients.
We come here often and simply say, "let's go to the French women tonight". It's such a cozy place which reflects the warm personalities of Elli and Fred and is reminiscent of a bistro in a small French village. Elli's wine recommendations are always spot...MoreHello good2go195 Thank you for the beautiful and just how you describe La Vigne, it's a compliment that makes us want to continue in this direction, I'm sure you hear my French accent through the words! xaxaxa good stay at Naxos Eli and Fred

We stopped here after a day at the beach, and almost 2 weeks in Greece eating Greek food at every opportunity. The mojitos are great and the food was great! Note there isn't really any demand for avocado in Greece so you won't see it anywhere on the menu. Definitely a must visit.

Gone are the Waitstaff with attitude. Food is now exceptional (especially the spit roasted lamb) to go along with a new attitude of customer service. Nicos now wraps the whole package together with great sea views, great food and fantastic customer service. As always their prices are very reasonable.

Hotel Ostria owns and operates "La Trattoria", one of the best restaurants on Naxos Island and it offers Greek and Italian Cuisine. The location, the beautiful environment and the exceptional recipes will make a memorable dinner.
I intended to go to Del Mar Cafe which was closed for dinner.
La Trattoria next door was crowded and as it turned out, served great Italian food.
The menu has far more Italian than Greek dishes. Many options for pizzas and pasta.
The capriciossa was very good, not quite like Naples but very good.
I had linguine Tia which was also excellent.
The tiramisu was delicious albeit different from Italian versions.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Going back again before I leave Naxos!

Milkato: pure ice cream prepared in the presence of the customer and produced by Naxian cow milk of the highest quality.Waffle: crispy cake that lies beneath the ice cream, contributing effectively to maximise the pleasure.
Milkato Gelateria is situated on the main Promenade in Naxos. Great views, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, yummy ice-cream (you must try the Snickers flavour; tastes exactly like a snickers bar)! This place is so much better than Waffle House. A must visit when in Naxos...

This place was recommended by our hotel, so we decided to try it. We ended up going back several times because the food was really good. Plus they have cheap house wine by the half liter (very drinkable). I recommend the chicken souvlaki here. Plus the over-baked feta is delicious too. As is custom, they give a platter of fruit and some raki after the meal. I definitely recommend this place. It's all the way at the northern end of the Agios Prokopios beach.
Also this place is cheap...I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about when they say this is "very expensive"...a meal like this in New York or Western Europe would cost A LOT more. My girlfriend and I had a huge dinner here and drank 1.5 liters of wine (that's two bottles of house wine) and then we had the complementary fruit and raki and the bill came in under 35 euros.

This restaurant was on the roof of our hotel and is used for breakfast in the morning. We were the first guests of the season and feared the place would suffer from lack of atmosphere. It did on the only night that we dined there. However, the steak dinner we had there was very good and the views across the beach and to Paros are the best in town. Only part of the roof can be enclosed so avoid windy or chilly evenings. Also the kitchen is on the ground floor so despite the dumb waiter the food could get cold at busy times. A difficult place to make a success of except in peak season. However, the manager Vaggelis is a great character and waiter Elvis is very attentive.

This place, like 90% of places in agios Anna and prokopios clearly had better days. The massive increase in tourism has, with new places coming up each season, is pushing these restaurants towards greed and mediocrity. The food is, frankly, simple, tasteless, and in no way anything more than a tummy filler. A rather expensive one too. We've been coming to Greece for years, and good tavernas are rare in touristy areas. This place is just another one of the mediocre generality food has become around here. And the quality of service is another story, I will spare you for now.
