Morro del Jable

Reviewed By Andy-S60 - Dunstable, Bedfordshire, England

One of the longest, (imported) sandy Beaches I've ever seen, and a Promenade that goes on for miles, makes this resort perfect for long strolls and lazing on the beach, although swimming in February looked a tad chilly. The beach loungers were a bit regimented in fenced off areas, and the architecture along the prom isn't exactly Olde Worlde (some of the hotels are ginormous. ..) but but as a whole it does what it says on the tin.

Faro de Jandia

It's a long, bumpy and dusty drive and the Visitor Centre was shut the day we went - doh ! but the scenery was spectacular and all in all worth going. Stopped at a beautiful deserted beach for a swim n the way back.

Turtle Nursery

Reviewed By 202Mikey - Derby, United Kingdom

Looked or this place last year and din`t locate it due to poor research and its rather inauspicious appearance . It states that you can make a donation but there did not appear to be a way to do this. The Nursery in reality comprises a number of tanks where turtles are nurtured back to health. On this occasion two tanks were open to public inspection with two large turtles inside. The turtles seemed to enjoy the human visitation but its strictly the case that there is no physical interaction and feeding.
There are a number of display boards indicating how the facility operates and the work it does. It is well worth a look. Open 10am till 1300hrs and located in the port to the right of the main roundabout on an industrial estate.

Playa de Mal Nombre

Beautiful beach, a great place to swim and sunbathe, can get windy but hopefully you can snag a stone circle. Only a few steps down onto the beach so the access isn't too bad and a nice beach bar for a San Miguel at the end of the day.

Puerto Morro Jable

Reviewed By Andrew C - Witney, United Kingdom

This is not particularly a tourist attraction, but it is where most of the boat trips start and finish. It is convenient for Morro Jable, and most of the boat trip providers collect and return customers from locations around Morro Jable. It is a functional port rather than somewhere to go and see activities.

Nuestra Senora del Carmen

Reviewed By ganznett
