When compared to Anatolian Civilizations Museum it is a small museum. But it can give highlights about the civilizations found in Çorum. As a bonus it features an ethnographic section in which you can see some enthographic materials. If you visit Çorum it is worth seeing. When you are there you can see many wedding couples who come here to make photos. It could be visited by handicaped people. Museum card is vaild. The museum building has served to many purposes like school, hospital in the old days. It gives a good insight to the history of the province.

Hattushash

Reviewed By Ebru A - Ankara, Turkey

In terms of Anatolian Civilization, the Hittite Era is important. Hattushash is the capital of the empire. If you are around the Central Anatolia and interested in history, archeology, city planning and the relevant disciplines, I strongly recommend you to visit Hattushash. The best visiting time can be spring or fall season in terms of comfortable walking around the historic city walls. If you reserve approximately 6 hours for this trip, I also recommend you to combine your visit with the Yazilikaya Canyon walking tour (individually or with a guided tour).

Open till 7pm, so a good. option to visit the same day after visiting the ruins. A lot of interesting Reading material in English and Turkish. Naturally contains the relics found locally, along with pictures of items transferred to the big cities. I found the cuneiform and hyroglyph tables the most fascinating. The two original sphynxs are here, the copies being up in the Hattusha ruins.

A fascinating place to visit if you are in or around Corum. It is like walking through the ancient times and culture of the Hittites. This is only one of several gates. The area is so huge that you cannot possibly see everything in just one day. There are nearby museums that provide a good supplement to these ancient sites

Great Temple

Reviewed By MiyStambul - Istanbul, Turkey

One of the most interesting and mysterious ancient cities in Turkey... Efes much bigger but buildings of Hattuşaş are much much more older. Megalits which we can see at the place of Hett temples obviously could be made only by progressive technologies. I believe they belong to older unknown civilizations.

It will be very surprising and also very enjoyable for you to see the scenery and walk through the river towards the ANATOLIAN MOTHER GODDESS KYBELE ON THE ROCK WHICH IS 3 METERS HIGH
