Please check website to confirm opening times. Animal Farm Goolwa is a family run farm where old and young can interact with animals. The farm is set in the beautiful South Australian countryside and yet is only 6 minutes drive from the best surf Beaches in SA. There are typical farm animals but also a 3 different types of kangaroos, alpacas, emus, potoroos, rabbits, Guinea pigs and birds. Pony rides, trailer rides, play areas and a small cafe for refreshments ensure a great trip for all.
Just had the most enchanting morning at Goolwa Animal Farm. The staff are so welcoming and accomodating and make every child feel special. Lots to do, excellent coffee, yummy biscuits, the friendliest animals and excellent facilities. A relaxing and fun filled time for all. Excellent value.

The Murray-Darling river system is one of Australia's greatest resources and often at the centre of debate and controversy. This barrage and the informative displays help to explain the nature of this iconic system. It probably won't hold the attention of children for long but after visiting the barrage there is a picturesque walk that will entertain them from the car park across dunes to the ocean. It's good for mobile adults as well. All worth a visit.

Family fun at Goolwa Beach. Definitely recommend this beach for anyone wanting to boogie board or surf. Suitable for beginners to more experienced. Life guards patrol in a small area but this section does get busy. Drive the beach in a AWD or 4WD which stretches for kms. Hunt for Goolwa cockles. Sun bake, play cricket and just have fun. Definitely my favourite surf beach close to Adelaide by far!

Michael, the owner, has lots of interesting stories of the cars he has owned and people he has known, worth visiting just to hear his past. Only about 30 vehicles on display but well worth the visit to see some very unique cars. A collection of memorabilia and model cars to view as well. Good way to fill in an hour or so.

This micro brewery is in a converted railway goods shed nestled between the water's edge and the Goolwa railway station. The interior is replete with vats, etc giving it a distinct industrial look. The sign says it "was not made over by marketing stylists", but it looks like they simply ran out of money to finish the refurbishment. Has real potential to be so much more.

Art Gallery in a National Trust Building. We are an association of Artists showcasing our work in our local community, exhibiting an exciting mix of Original Art.
Well done little gallery full of interesting and reasonably priced work. A good variety of work, something to suit most people. Good to see lots of local artists being displayed, a few overseas items which I thought was unnecessary with the quality of the local work available.
