Such a nice place, a historical landmark. For people who loves horses, nature and charming place. We booked our visit, and we did the visit with another couple. Our guide was Inês, who gave us all the information we ask. At the end of the visit I made my baptism horse riding, on a Purebred Lusitano horse.

A construction that still stands perfect 21 centuries after it has been built is something to be revered. It is a testimony to the finest engineering work ever made without using cranes or heavy machinery. Minor reparations occured between 2001 and 2003.
On the downside the surroundings of the bridge namely the picnic area and accesses are run down and definitely deserved some attention. The bridge more than deserves it.

This company does tailor made tours (among others). We decid to have an afternoon with friends and family making cheese at Azeitão. In an old farm that now does this kind of workshops so that the young (and the not so young...) can discover how the famous Azeitão cheese is made.
