The Black Forest treetop walk opened on September 26th, 2014 and we are now looking forward to your visit! The treetop walk is 1,250 meters long and up to 20 meters high. It has activity and learning stations, and its highlight is the 40 meter high, architecturally unique view tower. Once you reach its uppermost platform, you will be rewarded with a beautiful view out over thick woodlands of the Black Forest.
Visited with four school age kids. Folks of all ages were there and it is accessible to everyone. Price was reasonable. The view from the end was terrific. Lots of trails in the area and you can spend the whole day hiking if you desire. We did a total of about 5 km and then went into town for lunch. Fun time.

Palais Thermal is a top rated spa and deserves its reputation. The building architecture is great to see and the spa is a bonus. The pool upstairs is outdoors and worth the price of admission, especially on a cold, snowy day like when I was there. You are bathing in warn water (37 degrees or so) while snow id falling on your head. Unforgetable. Don't forget this is a German spa, so textil free.

Highly efficient, fun and good value way to get up and down to the Baumwipfelpfad. Runs regularly throughout the day and into early evening.

Within a day or so of flying into Stuttgart to visit the Black Forest, I have enjoyed the thereputic benefits of the beautiful Vital Therme on several occasions. It is clean, efficient, accomodating, reasonably priced, and wonderfully relaxing. Best of all, it is easily accessible from Stuttgart by car or train. In moderate weather, the outdoor pool is especially appealing. If it is a little chilly, the indoor pool is just fine. I find the steam room to be well-suited to getting over the stifling dry air of a tran-oceanic flight. The Vital Therme uses the same mineral warm waters as the expensive private Kur Houses down the street in the lovely town of Bad Wildbad in the Enz River Valley (Enztal)

The Royal Theater was built in 1864. During the years it wasn't used too much, but after the introduction of the Rossini Festival, teher was a need for such a venue. It was completey reconstructed and opened in 2014. Tha small place has got exccelent accustic, a pit, areal stage, and 200 seats.

Did a technique course there. The tracks are not on a private terrain and are simply crossing through the park with pedestrians on the mountain. Which is nice, but both have to be aware of this.
Good mix of different difficulty levels tracks.
Definitely worth visiting for biking (and hiking) !
