We were looking for places having historical importance @ Karnal and visited this place but the state of affairs is very poor. Authorities must show interest to develop this place of historical importance, which has many stories weaved around Guru Nanak Dev ji too.

Chhachhrauli is little town in the state of Haryana near Karnal. It was once the capital of one of the India's 562 princely states. Chhachhrauli fort was constructed by the King of Kalsia about 250 year ago, it contains three main sections, a large throne room, a large and safe Khazana and a large reception room. Walls of the fort painted with high quality of paint which was in vogue at that time. Color and shines still looks like a new work done. On the walls of the fort, important railway stations, trains, some of the important scenes of Kings of India (of different states) including Churches and flowers have been painted with excellence.
