A popular tourist attraction this area has a Friday evening market we are told. Said to be fun. Lots of the hospitality spots have balconies overlooking the sea. Great. Eclectic international cuisines available, including Thai. A nice late afternoon or early evening spot for a stroll and refreshment. On the north coast of Koh Samui.

This beach is suitable for families since the waterbed is not deep and you can snorkel just nearby the beach..Chaweng beach is more alive compared to Lamai Beach

An interesting area with an information board explaining the history. We were required to cover up and clothes were provided. This attraction was free to attend. There were a small market selling local wares in the immediate vicinity. At the top of the steps there are lovely views across the bay.

This a great shopping and dining option if you want to get off the street and out of the sun for a few hours. It’s clean and spa with a great variety of banks, shops and restaurants. There’s a cinema and play areas for children. As well, a large food store if you’re wanting to pick up beer and snacks for your room. Worth stopping in.
