Yongin (Korean pronunciation: [joŋ.in]) is a major city in the Seoul Capital Area, located in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. With a population of nearly 1 million, the city has developed abruptly since the 21st century, recording the highest population growth of any city in the country. Yongin is home to Everland and Caribbean Bay, South Korea's most popular amusement and water parks. The city is also home to the Korean Folk Village, the largest of its kind.

Everland was Korea’s first family park and is still one of its most popular. There is a safari area featuring lions, tigers and bears, a water park, and some of the country’s most famed, lush Gardens.
Theme park loaded with all age fun from adventure, carnival, zoo and food. Friendly staffs, good transport and free parking. Some attractions are closed due to maintenance and seasonal shutdown which is disappointing. Try be there early as possible to enjoy all and expect long wait for popular rides.

Hwaseong Fortress in the town of Suwon is just a 30-minute train ride from Seoul. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Korea’s most important historical treasures and is the only remaining walled fortress in the country.
it was very special experience. Hwaseong tour with native Korean we went his home, ate samgyeobsal. I experienced native korean culture:)

this is a must-visit place when in Korea...amazing mix of nature( the autumn foliage was spectacular), culture (from the authentic structures to the live cultural workshops) and entertainment (performances and "villagers" and even visitors are in traditional Korean garb)...not as crowded as Nami because KFV is huge! there's even a theme park for kids.. i regret that we did not fully tour the place since we got sidetracked in gangnam and arrived late in the afternoon, but what we saw was really awesome. a lot of kdrama shows and movies were shot here. but even if one is not a Kdrama fan, KFV will surely impress

I've visited Caribbean Bay several time. It was okay most of the time. It was fun but I became easily tired because of a bunch of people. And there were not enough places for me to take a rest. But it all has changed now. Last week, I went this place again and I rent a sun bed this time. It was 50,000 KRW. I didn't expect much. But it definitely worths every penny. Had some fun in a pool and came back to my bed. Took a short nap, then ate food and etc. It felt that I was in a resort. And I've never ever felt that way here before. That one small sun bed just changed my day. If you want to spend a whole day here, I highly recommend a sun bed. You won't regret it.

I went here with a group and it was one of two activities on this day trip from Seoul. I had expected a series of sound stages and facades of buildings. No... They rebuilt an entire village!
In some ways it is better than going to some "real" historical sites in that it is built to be complete and reconstruct a functioning village for their films and dramas. The day we were there MBC was actually filming. With only an occasional "shh" gesture, they let us wander throughout the complex. When the actors were not needed for a particular scene, they gladly posed with visitors for photos.
Had I been a Korean Drama addict, I would have given the MBC Dramia 5 stars. Had I spent 4 hours on the road to see only this attraction, 3 stars. Overall, more interesting than I had expected.

Ho-Am museum is an absolute jewel. The grounds of this museum are beautiful. It has been designed exactly like a traditional korean garden. With the four seasons of Korea it can be enjoyed anytime of year. The museum's building is also designed like a traditional house. Wonderful gazebos, a large lotus pond, and wild peacocks roaming all over the grounds creates such an incredible atmosphere. This is by far one a hidden gem. The museum's collection is not all that grand. It is small and mainly consists of a few paintings, pottery, and some wooden furniture. If you are just coming for the art than I would recommend the National Museum in Seoul but if you are coming to experience all it has to offer then this is a place for you. A little out of the way but accessible. There are busses from Seoul to Everland. From Everland's main gate they offer a shuttle bus. The bus runs on the hour, every hour and returns 15 minutes past the hour, every hour. The price is 4,000 won to enter and totally worth it.

This is probably the best cafe street in Bundang/Suji. Has a lot of variety in terms of restaurants and shops. Well worth the visit to this friendly place. A lot of locals and little international influence, which for me gives a great Korean experience.

What more can I say...
I have been both inside the stadium for watching games and outside the stadium for exercise.
Every time the grounds are clean and facilities are kept in top condition.
The outer ring around the stadium offers exercise equipment, art and the ability to hire sports equipment and electronic ride on toy cats for kids.
A great visit for either a game or sightseeing.

This visit was unexpected but I enjoyed it. Located about an hour by car from where I was staying next to Suwon Station, the Temple seems mainly visited by locals although I did see some signs which indicated that the Temple is also visited by a lot of Thais. Wear comfortable walking shoes as the interesting sites around the temple are elevated. Also most of the steps do not have hand rails so watch your step. I was at the Temple for about two hours and did not see one monk which struck me as a bit strange. The topography and views from the Temple are very picturesque. The Temple claims to have the first wooden reclining Buddha in the world supposedly from juniper wood imported from India. There are not much English signages so going with a guide would probably be recommended.
