Please note, due to low water levels, there are currently no row boats at Yanchep National Park. Whether you‘re looking for a day trip near Perth or a quick stop on your journey to the Pinnacles or further north, Yanchep National Park (just 45 minutes north of Perth city) provides you the opportunity to experience kangaroos, koalas, limestone caves and Aboriginal culture in a natural setting. Enjoy a game of golf on our 9 hole natural course, book your special occasion in our purpose made Cabaret Cave, walk along one the park’s trails (ranging in distance from 500mtrs to 55kms), enjoy a picnic in the natural surrounds or savor your appetite at one of the dining facilities located in the park.

We recently made a trip out to Yanchep from Perth and our first stop was the lagoon beach. We headed in early to avoid the crowds and it was the perfect time.
I can see why the masses flock here as it is an absolutely beautiful beach. We did not swim but the walk along the beach was perfect! The turquoise waters against the white sands, a beautiful contrast and the water was so cool as it lapped our feet.
It was such a serene place to start off our day.

This cave used to be great in its early years but probably has had to change due to public safety fears & pressures which has made it over commercialised.
Nevertheless, there is lots of information available about it and easily navigated due to the work that has been done. Personally I prefer the caves down south.

Ocean Keys Shopping Centre is a new shopping centre located in the Perth suburb of Clarkson. The centre features over 120 stores, with major retailers Target, Coles, Kmart and Woolworths, as well as City Beach, JB Hi-Fi and more than 115 specialty retailers. Centre services include: - Free WiFi - Free mobility scooter hire - Free baby change and feeding rooms - Free children's play area
This was the closest undercover shopping mall to where we vacationed. It's tiny in comparison to Joondalup Lakeside which is on a completely different scale but it has the basics to save you the longer trip i.e. Supermarket/cafes/beauty salons/clothing stores etc, plus plenty of parking. It's clean and modern so a good place to get all necessities without travelling far.

My 19 month old absolutely loves this place! $7 entry fee per person. Kids under 2 years old free. Stroll amongst the ducks, chickens, goats, lamb! There's also alpacas, pigs, Turkey & cows to see! Kids can pat the rabbits!
And enjoy a coffee or meal at the cafe!
The resource centre has lots of info and interactive posters & books for older chicken!
It's a great fun day out for the family. Parking may be a problem on weekends though.

Have to admit I'm not sure whether Quinn's has an apostrophe or not - checked various websites and there's different spellings - so apologies if I've got it wrong!
Located just a short distance north of Mindarie Marina (you can see the marina from the beach), this is altogether a safer bathing beach than the one just south (Cayton's) as it's got a sea net which should keep out any large fish and also stop you being carried away by Rip Tides or undertow etc. There's a rock breakwater dividing the two beach sections and noticed beach fishermen making good catches. There's plenty of street parking as you drive up plus a large car park further along opposite Blue Vue cafe, where there's also a large grassed area and small tots playground. This area has the closest parking to the beach but the beach itself does drop due to wave action against the sand. Not tried the cafe but it was very busy on Good Friday when we visited the area.

What a remarkable park. So much for kids to do, it's almost endless. Really well cared for and plenty of spots for a BBQ but be warned. Extremely popular on the weekends so hard pressed to get a BBQ.
This park is a firm favourite and adults can sit comfortably while the kids play. Lots of shady spots.
Toilet and water Fountains on site.

The Wanneroo Regional Museum showcases the City's rich cultural heritage with exciting displays that celebrate the stories of the area. With more than 550 objects and photographs on permanent display, the museum is able to share stories about Wanneroo's natural, cultural and Aboriginal heritage.
Went in to the Museum today for the first time . Staff are brilliant and the displays are fantastic. A lot of work has been done to bring our city's history to live. We were blown away by all the different Nationalities that make up the Wanneroo district. I liked the hard work ethic and summer beach shacks used by the locals all well displayed in photos and artefacts. The Aboriginal part of the displays is great and good to see.

This long stretch of sandy beach is just up from Mindarie Marina heading south. It's so long that in fact you could probably walk for miles without passing another human. You have to walk or drive from the Marina as the headland is rocky and not passable on foot. There are steps down to the beach and plenty of areas up around the sand dunes if it's a windy day and you need some shelter. On the day we visited the sea was very choppy with wave dumping so not sure how safe it is for swimming - especially as there's a sign explaining how to survive a Rip Tide plus another advising against bathing - so caution required!
There is a small car park and with a lot of new housing development at the top of the beach overlooking the bay guess it could get busy, although there's also lay-bys just down the hill.

There are two options drive v8 with driver along side you giving helpful advise you pay for as manylaps as you want then option 2 is hot laps with your driver who has or is a v8 driver some have been over seas in the nascar great to see how far you can push the cars. You can do both or either of the options.
Also you can have photo and or a usb footage from in side the car or ute
My usb did not work very disappointed, returned it after contacting the organizers, it did not seem to be unusual as the scrap of paper with a refund cheque attached came a week later as they kept saying as per terms and conditions
