Struer Museum shows development of Struer municipality, its harbour and railway junction, house of Danish writer Johannes Buchholtz, and the most important, history of Bang & Olufsen in the new part of the museum. The fascinating design of consumer electronics products made by Bang & Olufsen was (and is) well-known worldwide. Fifteen of them became part of collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art. We were expecting to see a garden/park, but is was a sculpted garden around a house in a residential area. Small and not what we expected, we had seen it in 15 minutes. But it's nice and the owner is friendly.

One of our favorite Islands Jegindoe - has a firm place in my heart as part of my family originates from this little island - which has a lot of history and (on the surface) not a lot of future. That will maybe fool some to give the island a pass - as it seems to have little to offer - but that is just part of the charm of the island. It is peaceful and quiet, especially out of season.
A perfect place to unwind and relax. This review is more about the island itself and not so much the harbor which is just a small part of the island. A recommendation for those looking for a small quiet island with nice Beaches and beautiful views.

Vi nød et eftermiddagsbesøg på øen og fornøjede os med at sejle ind til den lille fine havn, hvor vi også læste om historien i Venøsund Færgelaug. Der var ikke fyldt i havnen og vi kunne lægge til ved molen.
Vi nåede at vandre rundt på den lille ø og se de vigtigste seværdigheder. Kirken - ang. Danmarks mindste kirke - kan særligt anbefales og husk kirkegården også. Sejlturen ud af havnen mod Struer var smuk og vinden havde lagt sig.

Very beautiful church with a great view. Like most Danish churches this one is also placed at a hight(st) spot on the island. Inside is the church very big for such a small island, 2 ships.

Byens rådhus er smuk i sig selv, som det fremtræder på byens fine torv med støj fra Rådhuscafeen overfor.
Godt med de smukke blomster, der
følger gelænderet. De matcher de grå farver og passer så fint til gelænderet.
