This market has it all. Plenty of produce to choose from, locally and humanely raised meats, baked goods, "boutique" eats, snacks, crafts, etc. The only thing missing from this market is a little "step up" in the food offerings available.

The Francis Winspear Centre for Music is located in Edmonton's Arts District and is home to the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
I went to the Winspear Centre, three times for three different Concerts. In order to judge a concert hall properly, a person has to sit in different areas and listen to different types of music. For one show, I sat at the front, for another, in the middle and for another, at the back on the upper balcony. Every show sounded great, the stage was never far away and there were no obstructions to the view. During the break for each show, there was plenty of room to stretch out in the lobby and bathrooms were easy to find. The Winspear has very comfortable Seating and they were easy to locate. Ushers were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Winspear to anyone that wants good sound, good Seating and roomy lobby space. A great experience at every show@

This attraction is not extensive but is restful, well kept and so pretty. You can't knock a garden like this which is free. Everything is well labelled. The gift shop is well stocked and the staff were so sweet. There is a free map in the shop. Worth an hour of anyone's time.

My husband and I took a stroll around the park one evening. Lots of birds to see. I like how they have information boards around. It's very peaceful and relaxing, not too busy. There is a shelter too with more pictures and information. It would be a great place to take Girl Guides and Scouts for a bird watching badge.

I love the location, I love the look, I love the ambiance. I detest the way this place is run. I have come as a customer as well as a vendor for events and I've never been so frustrated with a location. This place should be a go to destination for everyone in the city- it has everything going for it. But from the silly hours, the overpriced plants and lack of knowledgeable staff around to give advice it has become all about the money. They used to have some really interesting tenants, but the customer base is small and with no guarantee of foot traffic, many tenants have left. As a vendor I couldn't believe how badly they treated two shows (make it and night of artists) that now won't come back.
I guess, the restaurant is okay but you are going for the location not the food.
The garden centre is stocked with limited stock and they aren't as helpful as they were when the they were the Lois Hole garden centre.
The food stores downstairs have some interesting stuff but again, overpriced.

The trails incorporate the Sturgeon River with paved trails along both sides extending for several kilometres. There are frequent Bridges allowing you to cross the river and return along the opposite bank and also the option of selecting the distance you want to walk.
Walking in the spring the water was running clear and full and with the new leaves just sprouting it was a most attractive walk.

We were in Edmonton for only half a day on a Sunday morning, and we tried to do the best that the city had to offer by combining breakfast at Muttart, a walk through Mill Creek Ravine and then coffee on Whyte Avenue. This was a highlight of that route, with good views over the city and the changing fall colours.

A great place for solo, peaceful walk or for a family to enjoy nature. There is a new parking lot to make the area more accessible, but it does not appear to be open yet. There are Seating areas along the boardwalk and signs explaining the significance of the marsh and lake to nature. Lots of bird watchers all year long. We visit in all seasons.

We spent Canada Day at some of the venues in St. Albert and were pleased to stop by the Grain Elevators. There was alot going on, crafts, scavenger hunts, tours, and games for the kids. There were also volunteers working and sharing in the history of the Grain Elevators. We found it very interesting and a nice place to visit. Nothing was expensive so we found all sorts of treats to purchase. Everything is in good shape, very interesting to hear about and read up on.We were only there an 1 1/2 hours but a well worth stop.
