Playa de Muro Beach

Reviewed By CURIOASA - Toronto

We were staying in Port de Pollensa and due to disappointing beach there, took the bus several days to enjoy this beach - it was beautiful, clear water, some shallow areas and a fun trampoline/inflatables park for kids (at a lower cost than PP). Loved swimming here, the beach area was pretty packed and noisy, so not a relaxing place but definitely loved the water.

This time of year was wonderful to visit because it was not crowded and you could stroll unencumbered and soak it in. Be sure to walk up on top of the wall and visit the bull ring too, Exceptionally clean streets. A lovely afternoon.

We have gone to this bar a few times in the last year, staff are very warm and welcoming and remembered us from our last visit which was 10 months prior. Even remembered what my husband drank. !!! Lovely cocktails, vodka and shots. Staff would get 11 out of 10. Only thing the toilets need a tidy near the end of the night. Good job.

We are on holiday from Ireland
Did the trip today From the start of our tour to the end everything was excellent
Musti took great care of us The initial explanation on driving was careful and clear.
The buggys are well maintained and safe. You quickly get used to driving it an Musti takes care not to lose you . To take the trip you must have your driving licence with you.
We drove up to San Salvador The mountain road was windy and felt like great fun.
You get a long trip and in my opinion good value for money.
I intend to take another trip with this company.

Xara Gate (Portal del Moll)

Reviewed By nnmercman - Camberley, United Kingdom

We walked into Alcudia from our villa (which took about an hour!), ended up near the main gate and decided to take a closer look. You can walk round part of the walls/ramparts and some areas have been heavily restored. It's not quite the same as walking round York city ramparts but interesting all the same. There are QR scanner points if you want to know a bit more detail/history of what you're looking at - interesting but the voice is a bit robotic. Through the gates is the old town with it's many tourist shops and cafes.

Wheels Sport

Wheelssport. A family business Wheelssport was founded by Juan Perello in 1986 in Pto. Alcudia (Mallorca) as a motorbike & bicycle rental. With the second generation increased the bicycle interest and started selling clothes, bikes and complements for biking. Nowadays, Wheelssport is well situated at the north side of the island with three stores in Pto. Alcudia, Playas de Muro and Can Picafort.

Spoke with a guy named Ricardo who rented us a nice bike for a few days, spoken really good English and gave us good information of where to go to see the best sights. The bike a 125cc with a lockig back box €7 to fill the tank and this got us to Palma and back easy. Better faster bikes are available if your wish or slower if you want. €39 Euro per day with the option of an insurance excess waiver on top if you wanted. Good half face helmets with visors too.

Playa Coll Baix

Reviewed By JanisLatvia - Latvia

I did choose the Platja des Coll Baix because of description that it is beautiful, quiet and tranquil beach with no crowds even in the high tourist season. It was therefore surprise to see many cars going in the same direction on the tiny road (Carrer de la Muntaña), which leads nowhere, except for this beach. The road was really bad, not only in holes, but really destroyed at some spots. After leaving the car on some small rocky patch next to the road (because there were nearly no parking places, and cars were parked on every smallest patch adjacent to the road), we went the rest of the road up to the mountain. After reaching the top, we saw that there are several smaller and larger ships and motorboats within the bay. So it was obvious that the small beach just can't be deserted as described in booklets. For me the hiking itself was O.K., but I would advise to think over before going there. And, if you go, be prepared - wear good hiking foot-wear and take with you some water.

If there has been a new trend in sports in recent years, it is kitesurf. Few sports,no to say none, make you feel such unique sensations as the ones you experience with kitesurf. It lets you enjoy the sun and the sea by sliding over the water on a board thanks to the traction kite which is powered by the wind. Freedom, speed, jumps, flights…the experience is unique. Karting Can Picafort

Reviewed By drbloor - Stockport, United Kingdom

We have been for last 3 years. Kids (now 9 and 11) really love it and request to return. It's really well organised and track is good, it is however not cheap. Eight minute race for 2 adults and 2 kids under 14 costs 76 to 116 euros depending on type of adult cart selected. Obviously went for the most expensive and fastest option thinking I am some kind of driving God. Which unfortunately it turns out I am not. Never mind; we'll be back.
